As an average American citizen, who happens to be an African-American male, a Christian, and a conservative, I find it disheartening to watch what is happening to this country, at the hands of Barrack Obama and his democratic cronies. There has been such sweeping spending and legislation since Obama took office eighteen months ago, that it is almost too much for a sane mind to absorb. All of the legislation has been pushed through with an iron fist by the Democrats in spite of the will of the American electorate. There is so much disdain and anger mounting in this country that I fear that if Obama continues to blatantly ignore citizens in this country, we risk the possibility of a second civil war occurring in these United States.

FOR IN HIS FIRST 100 DAYS as president, Obama has passed a flurry of deficit-deepening legislations such as the Stimulus Bill, the Equal Pay Bill, the Global Poverty Bill, the Tobacco Bill, the Climate Change Bill, and last but not least the Health Care Reform Bill. These will bring an already bankrupt America into a deficit of $2 trillion dollars. The most publicized opposition among the American people concerned the Health Care Reform widely known as “Obama Care” and the Stimulus Bill. Obama assured the American public that the Stimulus Bill would keep unemployment at or below 8 percent. We hit 10 percent and are now holding at 9.5 percent with anemic job growth and yet again, a slowing economy.

Poll after poll taken from countless sources showed that the people did not want these sweeping changes to occur. Obama’s response was that he refused to govern from polls. He made a sound argument in this for the most part. A president cannot always govern according to polls.  However, we are not just talking about one issue that the people did not see eye to eye with Obama on. But it is becoming clear that Obama has an agenda. It isn’t an agenda that beholds the Constitution and the democratic republic. It became apparent, that we were dealing with a president that has a history of hooking up with anti-capitalist people such as George Soros, Obama’s main ‘puppeteer’ who is a Hungarian born Jew. With his financial ability in the billions of dollars to back whatever cause he chooses and his powerful control of the media, Soros has the means to engineer the political and economic destinies of entire nations. Indeed, Soros has already implemented his global agenda in both Georgia and Kosovo. He has his eyes set on bringing down the American dollar and capitalism and bringing about a one world currency. Soros took interest in Obama and started contributing to his Senate bid in 2005 and continued through to Obama’s presidential bid. Then Obama admitted to having a mentor in black columnist writer Frank Marshall Davis, a proclaimed Marxist. One particular piece of Marxist literature, Rules for Radicals, authored by the Chicago Marxist Jew, Saul Alinsky, had often been fondly quoted by Obama in campaign speeches during his run for a State Senate seat in Illinois in 1996. How can we forget the notorious Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Obama joined his black nationalist church. This seemed essential to fulfilling the manifesto of Alinsky. Wright’s America hating sermons were played around the country , yet the liberal media gave Obama a pass on his association with Wright and a handful of other Marxist associations.

This portrait of Obama shed light on how he is choosing to govern, systematically destroying the fabric of what America is built on. He will not let the likes of the electorate stand in his way if they oppose his new vision for America. Obama continually gets a pass by the national media again. The people flock to networks like Fox News to find out such information about Obama and his past associations. Liberals try to discredit Fox but the ratings say it all. The American people are hungry for facts and they don’t get it from the Katy Courics, the Brian Williams, the George Stephanopoulos’.

We now come to what is turning out to be a very volatile issue, illegal immigration. This is the powder keg that I believe could really ignite a conflagration leading to civil war in the streets of America. The Federal Government has failed to secure the border for decades. Obama doesn’t take all of the blame in this instance. What sets Obama apart is that he has chosen to declare war against the State of Arizona. Arizona is at the epicenter of an uncontrolled border where illegals are flowing across the border in droves. Many of these people have criminal records. Included among these people are drug cartel members. Phoenix has become known as the kidnapping capital of the world. American citizens are being taken captive and murdered. Bullets are flying across the border and hitting buildings on American soil. The Arizona government has been pleading with Washington to take action because the security of citizens are at stake. This fell on deaf ears so Arizona passed it own law SB 1070 which would allow Arizona officials to uphold laws within the federal guidelines. Obama and his flunky Attorney General Eric Holder filed a federal law suit spending millions. Obama’s agenda is totally political. He intended to pander to the Hispanic vote for the upcoming elections, especially his own re-election bid in 2012.

This fight against SB 1070 pitted State against State, citizen against citizen. Again, there was an overall support for what Arizona was attempting to do. Yet, Obama pressed on. He won the battle for the most part, when a democratic appointed federal judge decided to legislate from the bench, as so many do these days, and struck down the most effective elements of the Arizona law. The American people lose gain, at least for now.

This victory for Obama may be one he lives to regret. He has poured gasoline onto the powder keg. People feel that their very lives are at stake in these border states. American’s away from the border are fatigued with footing the bill for illegals that come over the borders and weigh on the system. Americans are tired of jobs being taken by these individuals. We watch these people protest in the streets like they have a God-given right to violate the laws of the land and be given a free pass. America watched Obama make his point, that it is solely the Federal Government’s role to enforce the immigration laws.

While the people are still digesting the travesty of justice over the ruling on SB 1070, it is revealed that a plot may be underway by the Federal Government to give blanket amnesty to thousands of illegals in the country. An undated, internal draft memo by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services leaked Thursday outlines "administrative relief options to

… reduce the threat of removal for certain individuals present in the United States without authorization." "In the absence of comprehensive immigration reform," it reads, "USCIS can extend benefits and/or protections to many individuals and groups by issuing new guidance and regulations."

The memo describes possible steps the agency could take to address the situation of the country's estimated 11 million unauthorized immigrants, including granting some groups conditional legal residency.

If this comes to fruition, Obama takes another step to make the Federal Government even more powerful and usurp the power of the Legislative Branch by totally bypassing Congress and making this a law. Obama is gambling to see how far he can push the American people. I am afraid he is going to find out if this takes place.

What about all of the immigrants who obeyed the law and studies for weeks or months to take and pass the citizenship test to become a citizen of the United States? What about American electorate?

It is ironic, that this president has tried to portray himself as being a post racial president and an advocate of racial harmony. If he continues down this path, he is going to stir the racial tension already high from recent events in the country. Obama is going to prove the rhetoric of the Tea Party that the Federal Government is out of control and has become too big. I believe that this is where Obama miscalculates in a big way. He may be winning Hispanic votes but he can’t win an election on those votes alone. The Obama backfire will be the people demanding that his government enforce immigration laws since he squashes States rights to defend its citizens.

Obama is over playing his hand. Unlike any president in recent memory, he is quelling the rights of the States to enforce laws to protect its citizenry. The Constitution provided safeguards for States in the event that the Federal Government attempted to become too powerful. I think this will play out when this fight over SB 1070 reaches the Supreme Court.

In the meantime, what happens among the States and the people? We watched mobs of people protesting on either side of the Arizona Law. What does history show happens when people find their backs against the wall? No law abiding citizen in this country is going to continue to have their life, liberty, and property threatened by invaders coming over the border. When government becomes an enemy of the people, chaos is on the horizon. The Federal Government should take pause and review the destructiveness of the first American Civil War. We are not beyond the realm of a second civil war. There have been countries which have had multiple civil wars such as Somalia and Lebanon.

The hope that America has to avoid the escalating tensions in the nation is the upcoming Congressional elections in November 2010. The people need to end democratic rule in Washington. If polls are correct, if Republicans can take control of one House of Congress, we the people can slow down and even thwart the dangerous agenda of Barrack Obama. Perhaps the people will begin to feel that their voices matter in this democracy we hold dear. Then onward to send this Obama Marxist packing in 2012 so that we can begin trying to repair the damage he has perpetrated during his legislative blitzkrieg.

 

    Here we go again. We have heard it so many times in the past. Nations around the world condemning Israel for daring to protect its national interests. In this case, Israel is blockading ships that come toward Gaza. Israel’s intention is to inspect all ships to assure that weapons are not being smuggled into Gaza. Let’s talk about Gaza. It should be highlighted that the territory of Gaza is land that Israel was coerced into giving up, all in the name of the peace process with the Palestinians. Israel received in return, a territory now controlled by the terror network Hamas. Hamas was voted into rule by the “peace loving” Palestinians. Israel, for its compromise for peace, receives rocket fire from this very territory on a regular basis.

    History has taught Israel that it must take steps to ensure its survival while surrounded by hostile nations. In this saga, a ship called the Flotilla tried to break the blockade and Israel dropped soldiers onto the ship to search for weapons. Deaths occurred as the Israelis had to defend themselves from activists and others onboard as they pummeled the Israelis soldiers with them with clubs, knives etc. The activists claimed they were only bringing in humanitarian aid for the Palestinians. Israel has always allowed these supplies through but it is apparent that the intent from the beginning, was to circumvent the blockade.

    There has been more denunciation in the last few days against Israel than that heaped upon nations like Iran, a sponsor of terrorism which threatens Israel’s security frequently and North Korea, a rogue nuclear nation that recently sunk a South Korean vessel without provocation, killing over 40 South Korean military personnel. Where is the outcry and the outrage? One almost expects Arab nations to condemn Israel, no matter what. The surprise comes when you have western nations like France, Spain, and yes, even the United States under the Obama Regime criticizing Israel. How many times have we heard from such nations that Israel has the right to defend itself, but when she does, all hell breaks loose?

    I am beyond engaging ignorant people on the irrationality of their umbrage against Israel. We have witnessed Turkey protesting, Palestinians in America as well as abroad demonizing Israel. Yes, there is even Russia adding her two cents to the fray, in all her audacity. It was Russia who recently decided to invade the weaker nation of Georgia for no other reason than it could. With enemies as far as the eye can see, one has to wonder how Israel survives.

    According to Christian doctrine, the Nation of Israel is the center of the Holy Bible. In both the old and new testaments, in a sense, Israel is the center of the universe. Anyone who will deny this should ask themselves, why all of the international outcry, so often, against a nation no bigger than a few of the New England States?

    As I watch events unfolding, I find it harder and harder to second guess biblical prophecy around the nation of Israel. It is recorded that Israel will be the flashpoint in the world near the end of days. She will be hated by all of the nations. When people are asked about their hatred toward Israel, most offer no cogent answers. They offer  talking points they have heard on television or from second hand conversations. They can’t rationally answer the question. People seldom even bother to know Israel’s side of a situation. The Israelis are being called murders around the world and it begs the question, when did we become so sensitive about spilled blood? Iran still stones its women to death because of some archaic and murderous laws in Islam. Women can barely breathe without being threatened with decapitation. The Palestinians are blowing up women and children in the name of their cause. I become deathly ill listening to American liberals side with the Palestinians and respond that they blow things up because they are so poor and misunderstood. It is the only way they know how to be heard. I would invite , each one of these Anti-Semite liberals spend one night near the Gaza Strip.

   The Bible speaks of an enemy confederacy coming against Israel in the future. They launch a major offensive against the  unsuspecting Jewish State. According to scholars, Russia will lead this attack with other nations surrounding Israel, some of which are mentioned by name or their historical names. It is a safe bet that Iran will be gleefully involved. The region of Turkey is referenced. Up to this point, Turkey has been the only Arab ally Israel has had, so skeptics have ridiculed the reference to Turkey. Turkey is now calling for death to Israel over the Flotilla incident. The biblical texts Ezekiel 36-39 illustrates the gathering of the Jews from all over the world, to form the nation of Israel and continues up through this enemy invasion of Israel.

    Where is America in all of this? Though America is not mentioned by name in scripture, there are references to western nations who do nothing more than state a weak political protest against the enemy march on Israel. Before the Obama Regime, most would find this picture incredulous, that America would sit on the sidelines and let Israel be attacked. It is more plausible than ever before when you look at the track record of Obama toward Israel. Obama spoke of unconditional support during his presidential campaign and ironically, got the majority of the Jewish vote in America. Why the Jews traditionally vote for democrats is befuddling but this is for another time.

    Obama has established an anti-Israel stance so far in his administration. The U.S. has been walking away from Israel. During the Non-Nuclear Proliferation Treaty talks, Obama called on Israel to reveal all of its cards regarding its nuclear defense; Obama sided with the Palestinians and had the audacity to demand that the sovereign nation of Israel stop building settlements in Jerusalem, its own territory, to appease the Palestinians; Obama dressed down the Israeli Prime Minister and snubbed him during a visit to the White House recently. He is now officially asking the Israelis to pull back on their blockade of Gaza. He is really requesting that Israel allow weapons to be supplied to Hamas so that Israelis cities can be bombed and countless numbers of its citizenry be murdered.

    The Obama Administration has failed to see that its policies toward Israel is bringing The Middle East region toward all-out war. The enemies of Israel have been watching Washington’s behavior toward Israel closely. This incident with the Flotilla is one of more to come because they are testing Israel. Why wouldn’t they, when Obama is pretty much giving them an invitation to do so? What do they have to fear when the last remaining superpower of the world which once assured Israel’s security, now spends more time publicly condemning her than supporting her? Let there be no doubt Israel wild defend herself.

    Christians support Israel because they understand what the God of the Bible states about His chosen people. “I will bless those that bless you and curse those that curse you.” This reference is to the nations of the world regarding their relationship with Israel. America is going to find out what this is all about, if we allow Obama and future leaders to turn against our only staunch ally in the mid-east region. America is already facing the most perilous times in her history. America has been the most blessed nation on earth because of its Judeo-Christian heritage and because it has allowed the Jews to call America home. To be fair and balanced, this about face toward Israel didn’t all begin with Obama. George W. Bush pushed for Israel to give up its land for peace as Presidents before him did. To Bush’s credit, he made it clear of his commitment to Israel’s security. Obama’s behavior is unprecedented.

    In review, what are the problems America faces? Terrorism; the march toward economic collapse; American States are turning against each other on the issue of illegal immigration. States are boycotting another state because it has chosen to defend itself from illegal immigrants. It almost seems like another civil war is brewing. The list is going to get bigger because the blessings are going away folks.

    In the absence of the Christian faith, the hatred and uproar that is directed toward Israel, is irrational and psychotic. But believers understand, that no matter how ugly it gets in the middle east, no matter how violent the rhetoric, Israel is God’s nation and it is His people. Nothing and no one will stand against Israel in victory. She will exist, even after the enemy onslaught that is believed to be coming. No matter how implausible one thinks this is, return to 1948 when the impossible occurred. The Israelis who were scattered all over the world, gathered and formed a nation as prophesied in the Bible. Conflict after conflict, She remains. Palestinians, Iranians, Americans, wise up people before it’s too late. Israel will remain, will you?

 

     A 13-story mosque is planned near the World Trade Center site, in a building that was damaged by airplane debris on Sept. 11, 2001. A Lower Manhattan community board said Wednesday that it supported the $100-million mosque and cultural center. The project is aimed at creating a space for the neighborhood’s growing Muslim population.

    The new mosque will be built on the former site of a Burlington Coat Factory that was damaged in the 9/11 attacks. According to the Muslim community of the area and the American Society for Muslim Advancement (ASMA) is trying to do something positive and build a testament to interfaith harmony named the “Cordoba House.”

    The TriBeCa mosque has had to expand to three evening prayer services every Friday to deal with the growing Muslim population.“New immigrants coming to the area — you see a lot of people coming to Canal Street, a lot of street vendors and laborers,” says Daisy Kahn, executive director of the American Society for Muslim Advancement. “But also a lot of people in the financial community coming to prayers as well.” When Kahn’s organization found a vacant property on Park Place, the former site of a Burlington Coat Factory that had been damaged by airplane debris on September 11, 2001, the potent symbolism of the site also became a compelling rationale for the project. “

    In effort to tackle misunderstanding about Islam amongst the American society, Cordoba House – a Masjid and Islamic cultural center as well as community center – will be built at 45 Park Place, New York. The Cordoba House – that’s the name of the Islamic center will be – will stand above the former Burlington Coat Factory building, World Trade Center. “The Muslim community must provide an opportunity to educate individuals about Islam through education and organized experiences of art, culture, and entertainment,” as quoted from a release.

    “We decided we wanted to look at the legacy of 9/11 and do something positive,” said Daisy Khan, the executive director of the American Society for Muslim Advancement. Planned to be finished in 2013, the Cordoba House will not only be functioned for the five daily prayers, but also for community center, sports hall, gathering place, and Islamic center for teaching and learning. As its goal to educate people about Islam, the Cordoba House will be open for all people, either Muslims or non-Muslims.

    Cordoba Initiative alone is an Islamic organization that aims to achieve a tipping point in Muslim-West relations within the next decade, steering the world back to the course of mutual recognition and respect and away from heightened tensions. Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), United States.

    As one reads the information set forth by Daisy Kahn one almost wants to break out into song. That is if you are ignorant and uninformed of the intentions of the Islamic faith. You see, Kahn has done a fabulous job of using propaganda while being blatantly honest about seeing the area around Ground Zero as an opportunity. The question is whether or not one believes that the motive is to do something good or is there a more insidious agenda? Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, portrays the project as leading to Muslim Americanization.  His wife, who runs the American Society for Muslim Advancement, foresees interfaith activity. This Imam is a liar. He supports Sharia Law which is the most oppressive law in Islam. Ask him how this law treats women? He doesn’t even believe that Muslims attacked us on 9/11. Ask him if he believes that the State of Israel and the Jews have a right to exist? Ask him if foreign funding would influence this project? Of course it would. These Muslim nations will jump at the opportunity to put their victory symbol at Ground Zero. Another important question to ask the Imam is, what parts of the Islamic Law does he disagree with? Surely if he is a man of peace he would denounce the laws that call for the decapitation of the infidels.

    The so called modern Muslims speak about tolerance and wanting to reach out in harmony to other faiths when Islam, by definition, is one of forced submission, oppression and death. All one has to do is read their holy book the Koran. It is filled with instructions on how to deal with the infidel, those that are not faithful followers of Islam. It doesn’t speak of peaceful attempts at conversion as Christianity and Jesus Christ teaches. If the infidel, usually described as a Christian or a Jew does not convert he is to be killed in the most violent of ways. It is just that plain and simple. Muslims can tap dance all around those facts but there is and never will be any reconciliation with those outside of the Islamic faith. These are simple facts that any person can understand if they ignore the peaceful rhetoric Muslims use to promote their agenda.

    This is what is happening with this proposed Islamic Center, which could be built anywhere in New York, but the Muslims have chosen and support the building near Ground Zero. Ground Zero is considered sacred ground by most Americans and especially those families who had loved ones brutally murdered on that day by Islamic Jihadist’s. It is the height of arrogance and total disrespect to dare plan  building anything associated with Islam in that area. Daisy Kahn spoke of symbolism. She is dead on but not for the reasons she stated. The symbolism here would be a building representing a philosophy that destroyed the World Trade Center and 3,000 lives. It would be a symbol of victory and conquest, a shining beacon to all others that hate America and her ideals across the globe. Islam would have made her mark official on the area that the most devastating attack on American soil occurred.

    I do not apologize when I say that there is no reconciliation. There are those who believe in America and what it stands for. Its heritage is based in Judeo-Christian beliefs and principles. We are surrounded by people who want to erase this from our history and convert America into another Islamic State. This is the goal. This is the hidden agenda and unfortunately, Muslims are winning because Americans are caught up in the political correctness situation. More accurately, Americans are terrified. They are terrified  because they saw on a beautiful day, on Sept. 11, 2001 what radicals of the Islamic faith are capable of. I hear the self-proclaimed moderate Muslims state that they disagree with terrorism. This begs the question that if this is really true, then why do they not take a stand against these evil doers? If they truly believe that Islam is peaceful and tolerant, then why do they allow these creatures to hijack their religion? The silence is deafening, yet it speaks volumes.

    The American people must rise up and stand with the families of the 9/11 victims and not allow another atrocity to occur at Ground Zero. The Lower Manhattan Development Corporation should be ashamed that while we approach the tenth anniversary of 9/11,  we do not have replacements for the beloved Twin Towers. The priority should have been, out of defiance to the terrorists,  to get that hole filled as soon as possible. It is a sad commentary that if the Muslims have their way, they may have a symbol put there before we finish rebuilding ours.

     I am just outraged over this situation that has occurred concerning Rush Limbaugh and the NFL. The NFL has bent to pressure by the likes of AL Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the liberal media. The  smell of blood was in the water when they got wind of Limbaugh's bid for the NFL team.

    As usual, the liberal media has used the race card. They have accused Limbaugh of making racist comments but there is no evidence to support this. With the decline of all that was once honorary in the media, there were media outlets which exploited the unsubstantiated comments, such as CNN and their liberal flunky, Rick Sanchez. Sanchez refused to apologize when he found out that some of these comments that were found in some liberal book could not be linked to Limbaugh. Sanchez is the epitome of moral fabric in America. He was involved in a hit and run situation while drunk when he was working as a reporter in Miami.

       The insidious factor in this matter is that Sharpton, and Jackson know they don't need facts to slander someone. They just have to put their garbage out there on the airwaves and bet on the fact that, a substantial part of America is uniformed and too lazy to think for themselves. They will believe what they hear as gospel and the damage to a person's reputation is done. I find Jackson and Sharpton deplorable hypocrites. Jackson  and his illegitimate children. He lied about Martin Luther King dying in his arms when it was documented that he was not present at the time but arrived in the nick of time to smear blood on his clothing to substantiate the claim. There is Sharpton who is no more than an extortionist by squeezing money out of companies such as Anheuser-Bush, Chrysler, and Pepsi Co. by threatening to have African-Americans boycott their businesses by accusing them of mistreating African-American workers or not hiring enough of them. I wish blacks would examine their characters and stop seeing these figures as black leaders. We should see them for what they are. Sharpton and Jackson are race dividers. There relevance depends on animosity and bitterness between the races. It is ironic that they accuse Limbaugh of being divisive.

     Jackson and Sharpton were joined by the Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee in accusing Limbaugh of being a racist. What I want to know, is where were these people when a young black honor student got the life beat out of him recently by other black kids? Black on black crime is at an all time high yet these so called black leaders are silent on the issue.

    Getting to the heart of the matter, it is not racism that is the real issue here. It is the hatred of Limbaugh because he is a devout conservative that is outspoken on the issues. Liberals attack free speech that does not concur with their own.  The race card is used because the liberals and the so called black leaders know that the issue will whip many blacks into a frenzy.  I wish that my black brethren would wake up and realize that we have been nothing more than pawns to further the liberal agenda. The liberals know they can be effective in character assassination of Limbaugh because a significant portion of the population are uniformed and lazy. They want to be told what to believe and what to think. Even today, with information access at our very fingertips, people will not investigate what they hear coming from the media and others to form an informed opinion about something or someone.

    The racial tension is growing America. People are scared to criticize someone if  the person is black, because they will be called a racist. For example, if one dares to criticize Messiah Obama, he will be declared a racist when his race is the farthest thing form the issue. The criticism is Obama's policies.  I was invited to write articles for a college website at http://www.toggin.com. I wrote from a conservative viewpoint , often criticizing Obama and the democrats. After about three articles, my column was dropped from the website without any notice. My inquiries regarding the matter were ignored. It was obvious to me what had occurred. I knew going in that I was walking into the lions den, writing conservative articles on a site where college readers from all over the nation will log on and read. I found out pretty fast while in college, that colleges are liberal havens from the professors on down through the student body. Liberal indoctrination is rampant by the professors.

   All of this proves my point that Rush Limbaugh's conservatism was the true target in this NFL situation. It provided for the opportunity to destroy a prominent conservative figure. Using the racial card was the vehicle by which to achieve this. The NFL doesn't come out of this smelling like a rose. According to Limbaugh, he warned those involved that controversy would arise once it was known he was involved with trying to become a team owner. The others from the group assured Limbaugh that they would support him. Instead, they withered like a dead flowers.

   Limbaugh stated on his radio show this week that his team was investigating the situation and gathering evidence. From this, I hope that he is planning a legal blitzkrieg against the reporters, their media outlets such as NBC and CNN. I would hope that Sharpton and Jackson are involved in any legal action as well.  The media needs to be held responsible for there libel actions. What they truly need is remedial courses in journalism ethics.

 

    Today, President Obama became the “President of the World” as he addressed the U.N. General Assembly. I am sure I am joined by many other Americans today, across party lines, in my unbridled anger toward this president. Obama used this address to again be an apologist for America, surrender our sovereignty, and denounce Israel with a world audience.

    Obama was in his element today at the U.N. as he spoke against his own country and in a sense announcing his arrival as a “messiah,” that has now changed everything for the better. Obama stated that since he became president, America is no longer a torturing nation and that he has announced the closing of Gitmo. According to Obama, the U.S. has been nothing more than an imperialist behemoth that has gone around raping, pillaging, and plundering the world’s booty. He never acknowledges that this country is the most generous country on earth and has freed more people from tyranny. The European Union wouldn’t be what it is today if not for American intervention during World War II. There were thousands of people saved from ethnic cleansing during the Bosnian conflict, once again due to American intervention.

    Obama surrendered American sovereignty by announcing that the U.S. is no better than other nations and that a new balance of power should exist among the nations. By this action, he renounced America’s superpower status. Obama accomplishes this by announcing to the world that he wants to rekindle a relationship with the U.N., pushed aside by his predecessor. This translates that America will be impotent to defend itself or act in its best interest without the consent of the U.N. He drew thundering applause in the assembly after his remarks because it plays right into the what the U.N. has wanted for a long time. I am sure that many liberals are dancing in the streets because Obama has taken all of this from the liberal play book that has existed for a long time. Blame America, talk to your enemy at all costs, war in any form is wrong.

   Obama also drew applause as he denounced Israel’s building settlements in their own land. He stated that the U.S. doesn’t recognize the legitimacy of any further settlements, yet he finds himself able to accept the legitimacy of Iranian President Ahmadinejad. It is appalling that he would speak out against our ally Israel on a world platform. Obama is willing to embrace this lunatic and humor Iran’s stalling tactics while they develop a nuclear bomb that Obama that will directly threaten Israel as well as America. Many people don’t realize is that it take only one ballistic missile with a nuclear warhead to wipe out American civilization as we know it. If the Iranians were to launch an explode a war head 200 miles above the U.S., the resulting electromagnetic pulse (EMP) would destroy every working utility, computer system in the nation. America would be catapulted back to the nineteenth century within minutes ceasing to be a world power. Israel and the rest of the world would be on their own.

   Let’s not forget the speech about climate change which, according to Obama, America is single handedly responsible for. He spoke about catastrophes of biblical proportions occurring if the world doesn’t unite to solve the global climate issues. He sounded like an environmental activist gone crazy. What a hypocrite this president is. If he wants to worry about climate issues, he can start right here at home and concern himself with helping those ailing farms out in rural California. They desperately need water. The water sources dried up because Congress wanted to preserve some kind of a negligible fish. The people are suffering and can’t make a living for their families and it seems no one at the federal level is listening.

    Obama has told the world that America has abandoned its old and corrupt ways and now that he has arrived, things will be all better. I have never seen a president project an entire platform of weakness to the world. All of our enemies are watching and laughing at us. After listening to Obama blame his own country, our country, it makes you almost ashamed to be an American. America has become the worst place to live on the planet because of our evil history. Obama is the biggest narcissist I have ever seen. The man has an ego the size of our nation. He has been waiting for the opportunity to give a speech like he gave today. He is acting as if he has a mandate. This is not what the people of America expected change to be. He won the election by some 10 million votes. Obama is turning this country into something unrecognizable. We are becoming a nation that is perceived as weak and ripe for the taking. The sad part of all of this, is that President Obama is the biggest enemy to our Constitution and our world standing. We hardly need outside enemies. I pray that there is a United States left after three more years of this “President of the World,” who has declared all of us as “Citizens of the World.” I don’t know about anyone else but I consider myself a U.S. citizen.

 

    It looks like the democrats are looking for a distraction from the beating they are taking over issues like the economy, the unemployment rates, and the health care issue. They seem to think that they have found it by invoking the race card into the political debate. The democrats have a history of bringing up the issue of race when they feel it forwards their agenda. This time they may have overplayed their hand.

    Starting with the tea party protestors and their recent march on Washington DC, the participants have been referred to as racists and right wing radicals. Then, we have Congressman Joe Wilson who erupted and called President Obama a liar during his joint congressional speech. He was immediately deemed a racist and the charge for digging into his past to find evidence to support the claim. Everyone agreed on both sides of the aisle that this was unacceptable behavior and the man apologized twice to the White House, not that this was enough for Congress. They felt the need for more grandstanding and to get as much traction out of it as they could, again, to deflect from the real issues at hand. They called for formal censure of Wilson. The interesting issue here, is that Wilson shouted out what many Americans were thinking. Obama was lying through his teeth by stating that illegal aliens would not be able to get health coverage under their plan. Obama called people liars all through his speech that was speaking ill of his health care plan. Evidence that there was some truth to Wilson’s claim came when the Senate rushed to make changes to their bill to remedy the illegal alien issue.

    The democrats have become race baters in the political debate. Their premise states that if you dare disagree with Obama’s policies, then you are a racist. Who but the worst president in American history brought this all to the fore front than Jimmy Carter? He stated that most of the people that criticized Obama were racially intolerant and could not tolerate the fact that a black man is president. Then he went on to insult the entire southern region by reminding us that he was from the south, therefore, he is an expert on recognizing bigotry. This is ironic coming from one of the biggest anti-semites around. During his failure of a presidency, he undermined the State of Israel at every turn and continues to do so today with his visits to Gaza, his embracing of Hamas, and the Palestinian cause. Mr. Carter should know about racism and should spend more time looking in the mirror and less time trying to stay in the lime light. He should fade off into irrelevance from whence he came. Then we have the likes of Maureen Dowd who wrote an article about Congressman Wilson. In all of her infinite wisdom, she  assessed the situation and decided that racism was Wilson’s motivation. She hoped to encite further by stating that, with her selective hearing, she heard Wilson shout, “You lie boy!” She was the only one to hear this. Dowd is a disgrace to journalism and is at the center of what is wrong with the so called mainstream media today which doesn’t objectively report news anymore, but selects sides and ideologies, hence slanted news.

    Democrats are overplaying their hand this time using race to distract. They are opening Pandora’s box and are not prepared to deal with the consequences of this. It was liberals that stated that America had turned a corner by electing the first black man to the highest office in the land and hailed that racism was becoming a thing of the past. Wasn’t it democrats who stated that debate and dissent was the height of patriotism as liberals pounded George W. bush and the Iraq War? What happened? The same black man is still the president. We have dissent and debate going on. The problem is, that many Americans are discovering that Obama is not the centrist he ran his candidacy on. Instead he is radically far left. He was smart enough to know that no one wins the White House too far left of center, so he “lied!” Obama is trying to transform this country into something unrecognizable and the people are no longer sitting back and accepting it. So now we are all racists. I am a black conservative so therefore, I am a racist and a race trader, as so many of my fellow black brethren have referred to me, who are hopelessly enslaved to the Democratic Party. The democrats have overplayed their hand because the people are not going to be silenced and have debate shut down because of the accusation of racism. Why should we? The opposition is gaining the upper hand, the Obama Administration is failing miserably. Unemployment is still rising. It looks like health care is facing defeat and the irony here, is that this is occurring at the hands of Obama’s own party. The democrats have no excuses and no one to blame for their situation because they rule the White House and Capitol Hill.

    The lesson to be learned here is that racism is a two way street. There are whites that dislike blacks but there are also blacks who dislike whites as well.  Recently, on the Mike Gallagher Radio Show, a black man called in and told Mike that he hated all republicans. Mike asked him why?  He responded by saying that, “because all of them are white.” This shows how ignorant people are that hate because of race on all sides. If this black guy had done his homework, he would realize that there are blacks that are republicans as well, such as myself. The Republican Party has a black man at the helm of leadership, Michael Steele. President Obama’s candidacy was supposed to transcend race and bring change. Obama needs to take leadership on this issue and put the issue of “dissent equals racism” to rest before his own party sets back race relations by decades and lights a powder keg that won’t be pretty for any of us when it explodes.

 

   So much for Obama’s promise to not go backward regarding the CIA interrogations. Secretary Holder of the Justice Department is releasing documents and appointed a special prosecutor to delve back into things that kept the country safe for the last eight years since 9/11. Obama’s pitiful response is that he still believes that we should refrain from going backwards but it is Holder’s decision to make.

    Does anyone really believe that Obama is telling the truth on this subject? He is after all, the President of the United States and if he felt so strongly on the matter, he could order Holder and the Justice Department to cease and desist. The truth is, Obama is a proving to be dishonest, which is becoming a recurring theme with his administration. It looks like Obama is taking away interrogations from the CIA and putting this job under a the FBI umberella.  Interrogations will be conducted by what's to be called New Terrorism Interrogation Teams. They are to be closely monitored by the White House. This sets up the FBI, which has historically gathered information for prosecutions, at the head of the interrogation area instead of the CIA which historically has been responsible for interrogations.

   This move should have liberals filled with absolute glee because it closes the door on all of the Bush Administration interrogation techniques. The truth of the matter is that Obama has to appeal to his left wing base that has been less than happy with him lately, especially over the health care debate. The timing of this Justice Department CIA investigation is suspect. It suddenly takes front and center at the White House when the administration and the Democrats are taking a beating over Obama Care. “Wagging the Dog” comes to mind and the Clinton Administration. We all know what happened there. This digging into the past is going to backfire on the Democrats because the people are going to tire of things that are not focusing on current issues facing this country, like the deficit, Obama is running through the roof and the health care issue. Most importantly, the people are going to be filled with disbelief that this administration is going after the men and women on the front lines of fighting terrorism and are responsible for keep us safe up to this point. The situation is incredulous. The backlash at the town halls should be telling as to where the American people are at. We could look at Obama’s approval ratings that are falling like a rock.

  Obama is destroying this country and giving in to the likes of Jane Fonda and other far left loons that spend most of their time protesting against our military and taking their right to criticize and protest for granted. They have lost sight of the fact that they do so by the spilled blood of many men and women in the armed services. Obama had stated that the new interrogation teams housed at the FBI will use the Army Field Manual to conduct interrogations. This is sad because it basically amounts to our people getting down on one knee and begging for information that may save lives in the future. It is useless. You can’t treat terrorists the same way you would an armed robber in an interrogation room at your local police department. Liberals do not get it.

  The problem is that 9/11 was eight years ago and we have gotten soft and forgetful of how we felt on that day. The biggest mouths criticizing the Bush Administration’s determination to keep America safe following the attacks, were those who were not directly affected by the attacks nor lost love ones. Obama and the liberals are taking actions that will assure another attack on America and the next one will most likely make 9/11 look like a fraternity prank. I hope that people who protest and denounce our military and CIA workers never know the horror the victims of 9/11 suffered. Nevertheless, be ready folks, because it is coming. The terrorists are watching the Democrats and Obama and how they are dismantling out national security. It is a matter of when, not if. George W. Bush won’t be around to be blamed for it when it occur, however, I never ceased to be amazed how liberals manage to find a way to blame Bush and conservatives for everything wrong with the nation.

   In the end, I think that we all have to take responsibility for the votes that we cast at the polling stations during election times. I believe some people are already rethinking their love affair with President Obama. If you aren’t there yet, don’t worry you will be. We have three and a half more years for him to dismantle the U.S. and the Constitution as we know it.

 

     Looks like we now have President Obama pandering to the religious organizations throughout America in order to promote his health care reform plan. There is a lot of irony in this move by the White House to take this message to those of faith. It is also blatant and blasphemous.

    Obama is pandering to the charitable beliefs of those who believe in God and by definition want to see the unfortunate in the country cared for and provided for. This is the opportunity for Obama Care to be promoted. How could Obama lose the argument that all should be insured in America with this audience that he delivered messages to via conference calls? Some of the religious groups included Faith in Public Life and Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good. Some of the religious leaders will have the opportunity to express their struggles in the health care system. 

    What is more tragic is that the religious groups will falter on principle. Like so many proclaimed conservatives like Kathleen Parker and Michael Smerconish. Smerconish had Obama on his Philadelphia talk radio show on Aug 20. Smerconish declared his support for Obama during his campaign and slobbered all over the place, about meetings he was having with then Senator Obama. Kathleen Parker spent a lot of her energy bashing Sarah Palin. Let’s face it, you are not a conservative, by definition, and support Barrack Obama, who is the most left wing president this country has seen. The religious groups and the true conservatives will stay on principle and not give into the prestige and fan fare that surrounds this president.

     In a nutshell, I view this as a feeding frenzy in which neither side is concerned with conviction, principles, or what the American citizen thinks on the issue. Obama gets what he wants, getting closer to passing his health care plan, and the faith based groups get their time in the spotlight with a popular president. This may be a harsh view to take, but there are things for which there can be no compromise. In my view, such an issue, is human life and the protection of it. As people of faith, we are to be concerned with the weakest and most vulnerable in society. Who fits the category more than an unborn child? This reality should dictate that there will be no meetings with Obama. Obama should be told that we have no interest in hearing what you have to say until our voices on life are heard as well.

     In the end, we Christians, we Catholics, we people of faith are no better than Obama. We compromised. We allowed this president to quote the sacred scripture, and this is not the first time he has done so. We give this president an audience that has stated to the world, that we are not a Christian nation in order to pander to Moslems, who refuse to stand up to the radical element among them which seeks to destroy us. Do we have consciences left at all?

   The recent announcement by Sarah Palin, that she would resign her governor's post, has lead to endless speculation about what lies ahead for her political career or if she even has one left. This speculation coming form both sides of the aisle, Democrats and Republicans. The Democrats were predictable in their assessments and criticisms of Palin's decision, in fact, their rhetoric has become passe. It is always the same thing, they denounce her and degrade her and continue to attempt to trivialize Palin and all that she stands for. Instead of reacting to these liberal attack dogs in anger, it provides hope. When the liberals stop attacking the one knows that Palin is no longer viable or a threat to everything Democrats and liberals represent. In a rare moment, I intend to take issue and criticize the Republican Party for their treatment of this great politician we have in Sarah Palin.

    The Republican Party has lost it's way and is struggling to regain credibility and identity. They are failing miserably at this because of all the infighting. The way Republicans have reacted to and treated Sarah Palin is an atrocity. They have joined the liberals in demeaning Palin attacking her experience, job performance, and her ideals. Republicans have wandered so far from the party's core belief system that Palin scares them as much as she does Democrats. Republicans have been going wayward ever since President Ronald Reagan left office. Today, it is often hard to tell the two party's apart. President George W. Bush with his exhorbitant spending. We have so called Republicans like Senators Snow and Collins that have broken the ranks and voted with the Democrats. Then we have the seven Republicans that recently voted for the Energy Cap and Trade Bill in the House of Representaives, a bill that flies in the face of conservative values. Last but not least we have Senator Specter that abandoned the Republicans to become a Democrat to save his own political hide. This was a total absence of values and hopefully he will be shown the door in the 2010 elections because of his disloyalty. Also included in the attacks of Palin include proclaimed conservatives Kathleen Parker and David Frum.

    Sarah Palin ia a wild child. She is unscripted and has decided that she is not going to tow the Republican line. She is not interested in the political machines that will dictate to her as to what she should say, where she should go. John McCain's campaign thwarted Palin in this manner and did her a total disservice in their handling of her. We have Republicans criticizing her for her decision to resign her term as Governor of Alaska and have declared her as politically dead and not a viable candidate for 2012 campaign. Karl Rove, who I usually have no criticisms for, lead the charge with this declaration. He and others state that Palin should fade away and learn more about national and foreign policy and reemerge onto the scene. Rove is known as "the architect" of George W. Bush's campaign. While Rove is talented and shrewd, I believe that he and others have miscalculated where Palin is concerned.

   Americans are tired of the status quo in politics. Politicians are scripted and calculating, operating from polls instead of their value systems. George W. Bush acted on his value systems and his faith which resulted in unprecedented hatred. Sarah Palin will now be free from the establishment to do as she sees fit, most likely learning from the experience of the McCain Campaign. Critics state that because Palin will not finish her term as governor, she hurts her chances for national office because people will see her as a quitter. This is a ridiculous argument when you look at the rise of Teleprompter, President & CEO of Government Motors, Barrack Obama. What did he do? He was a one term Senator of which two of the years he spent running his presidential bid. He accomplished nothing in the Senate except voting "present" on most issues that came before the legislative body. Before all of this he was a mere community organizer that kept affiliations with individuals that professed disdain for America and held Marxist values. He also worked with Acorn, that is riddled with corruption and being investigated in many States. Bill Kristol of the Weekly Standard had it right on in his analysis of Sarah Palin's future. He stated that Palin has made a move that frees herself from a situation that became impossible because of constant liberal attacks, ethics allegations, and Republican rival hatred, to come down to the lower 48 States and be herself, helping candidates by spreading the conservative messages. She will be uninhibited by a Republican Political Machine that has proven to be ineffective on the national stage.

    Sarah Palin is far from through with the political stage. She has sprung people to life all over the country and will stir more people when she arrives in the States. She is set to prove all her critics wrong and demonstrate that there are still many people in this country that have traditional values and that holding to these values is the most important thing of all especially in the face of criticism and hatred. The people don't want more political sell outs like Senator Specter. The irony in all of this is, that it will be the people of America that will stun the Republican and Democratic establishments by supporting Palin.  Sarah Palin is poised to be the leader of the long needed revival of the Republican Party. She is the greatest best hope this country has had in a long time. May God Bless Sarah Palin and long may she wave.
 
    

   

   

     I was pondering the fact that I educated myself on the background of the Democratic Party and realized that they were no friend to the black community. Most important, my Christian principles are incongruent with the Democratic Party's liberal philosophies which are predominantly in opposition to the teachings of Christ. The hard fact is that we as a black community have stunted our growth because of  self- proclaimed victimhood, reversed racism, refusal to think for ourselves and a pandering Democratic Party that self-servingly keeps us where we are.

     Barrack Obama's ascendency as the first African American to become President of the United States and the blind support from the black community, has polarized all that is wrong with the relationship the Democratic Party has forged with the black community. I wonder what is it that makes most blacks support and follow a democrat even in cases where they barely know the name of the candidate nor anything about his personal ideals or set of beliefs? It seems the brand "Democrat" is quite enough. This is a powerful accomplishment on the part of the democratic party. They have managed to demonize the Republican Party by leftist education and indoctrination. If you want to see this at work just step into a classroom in today's colleges and universities.They have pandered to something within people that drive them to want to be provided for instead of picking yourself up by the boot straps and providing for yourself. Instead of teaching a people that they live in a country where the Founding Fathers assured an atmosphere where men would be on equal footing to work toward and achieve their dreams whatever they may be. Racism and discrimination was not part of the vision. It did rear it's ugly head and gained a footing in this nation that lead to slavery and major oppression of blacks in America.

    Sadly, the Democratic Party seized on an opportunity to gain indefinite support from within a community that was demoralized and devastated as a result of their plight. It all began with revisionist teaching of the Civil Rights Movement. Democrats omitted the fact that it was Republicans that lead the charge for equality. Back in 1854, most blacks were Republicans. The irony is that today, blacks share more values of the Republican Party than those of Democrats such as their belief in traditional marriage and opposition to abortion. So what happened?

   Demorats have run black communities for the last 50 years and turned them into social and economic disasters yet they have blamed Republicans and stated that they refuse to help the poor. As recent as President George W. Bush's time in office, he set forth over $500 Billion which was dispersed over into dozens of poverty related programs. The Democrats have skillfully taught the black community to hate Republicans by preaching hatred with the subtle democratic message that if you support us we will support you in your victimhood, in staying poor and uneducated. If you decide that you want to become productive citizens through your own hard efforts by getting a job, becoming educated and successful, then you can count on the Democratic Party  to demoralize you by calling you haters of your own race, "Uncle Tom" or how about a "House N Word?' I understand this well as I have been called these and more from members of my own black community because I dared to voice that there is a better way for the blacks.

An important lesson I learned about Democrats and liberals are that they are hypocrites. They preach about tolerance and free speech but dare to oppose their ideals and they are the most vile and vicious individuals you ever want to meet. For example look at the treatment that Governor Sarah Palin receives from liberals, especially women. The Feminist Movement promoting equality and sisterhood goes right out the window when these liberal women attack Governor Palin. Their credibility is shot. Just take a look at some of the scathing articles written about Palin, such as a Salon article written by so called feminist Cintra Wilson. Wilson is not in short supply. Her article was so disgusting and filled with expletives.They have tried to destroy this woman of conservative values. The unintended consequence for the Democrats is that their treatment of Palin only emboldens support for her because it demonstrates the sheer fear that liberals have of this woman. Let that be a lesson to all Republicans, if you get this kind of opposition and disdain from liberals, you are on the right track.

    Blacks can be encouraged by the election of Obama, that things have changed for the better with race relations. Even Obama is more than he appears to be. He is just another democratic animal with just more of the same with radical Marxist intentions.. He isn't a true advocate for the black community. He advocates the typical democratic part line, big and bigger government that promises the black community that his government will take care as opposed to encouraging them to rise above the nanny machine known as the US Government.

    Republicans must start to speak on not only issues of the social and economic but must educate blacks on the true history of the Civil Rights Movement. It will be revealed that Democrats are nothing but race baiters that accuses Republicans of being haters of blacks who denied them their civil rights during the 1960's.      I am trying to figure out a way that I can be a part of educating my fellow black brothers and sisters, waking them from a lengthy slumber, to the hidden agenda that Democrats have had for decades. If we as a people start to love education and begin to use critical thinking about the world we live in, we can start to see ourselves outside of the democratic quagmire many of us are stuck in. The key to any strategic success is learning whom and what the true, real enemy is within the war. In this case, the war is one to be waged that breaks blacks out of the victimhood mentality and to deplore the belief that we need to be taken care of. As a community, we are to thank our God that we live in a country which produced black and non-black men and women willing to fight side by side to provide the opportunity for us to strive and compete for the American Dream. As a result of their efforts, we have, not the right to succeed but the right to strive for success. Our success depends on our efforts and tenacity to pursue until that success is realized, however the individual defines it.If nothing else, Obama is evidence that the playing field is as equal as it has ever been in America. Blacks in America have to stand up and make the Democrats earn our votes instead of taking them for granted.

    It seems as if Israel has finally started showing some teeth after endless rocket attacks by the Hamas. Once again, it is also time for the anti-Israel sentiment, if not antisemitism to rear its ugly head right here in America.

    There were times this past week that I could not bear to listen to talk radio anymore because of the ignorant people calling in blasting Israel for defending itself. It saddens me to see how uninformed so many of my fellow citizens are. Before bothering to take a little time to investigate the situation, with perhaps a little history lesson on Israel and the middle eastern region, they rant and rave about how Palestinians are being murdered with absolutely no regard for what it must be like for Israel to have entered into peace agreements time and again conceding land, like the Gaza Strip on which the Palestinians reside, and have them broken for no apparent reason. The Israelis are repaid with rockets being fired into their land. I don’t think any American can imagine what it must be like to have bombs going off at any given moment in the back of their homes. Perhaps some of us should have the opportunity to experience some of the carnage that the Israelis have had to endure. We had 9/11, but that was a whole seven years ago with no attacks on the homeland, thanks to President George W. Bush and his determination to play hardball, resulting in losing the popularity contests the democrats want so bad to win at all costs.

    I hate the fact that innocent civilians are dying in Gaza like most people. I believe that the people should take control of their destinies. They elected a terrorist organization to run their territory. They are well aware that Hamas situates it strategic operations among the citizenry to ensure maximum casualties, if retaliatory strikes occur as a result of their evil deeds. Shouldn’t the people have to deal with the consequences of allowing this to happen to them? They are capable of protesting against Hamas. They surely get motivated and take to the streets to denounce the United States and burn its flag. The people outnumber the terrorists. Moderate, so called peace loving Arabs, outnumber the terrorists. So where is the righteous indignation and the rising up to say enough is enough? The terrorists or extremists would have to pack up and go.

    I wish that Americans that advocate for the Palestinians, learn once and for all, that there is no Palestinian nation. There never was such a nation known as Palestine in the history of the world, therefore, the Israelis are not encroaching on a sovereign territory. The land of Israel is a recognized and sovereign nation by most of the world. Why should the Israelis support the formation of a Palestinian State when the Palestinians refuse to concede Israel’s right to exist? It is about give and take, and Israel has been doing all of the giving with its territories as a result of international pressure, unfortunately, the U.S. was included in the process. It has been deemed “land for peace”. Where is the peace? That is all that the people of Israel want, is the right to exist and exist in peace.

    I can deal with the pictures and stories of hatred toward Israel from overseas. These are deluded and backward people that are no more than a means to an end at the hands of  these extremist groups they revere. Israel deserves better from civilized Americans. I guess that we are just too comfortable and decadent in this nation that we can’t even take the time to see what the fuss is all about, outside of what the television tells us. Heaven forbid, this might require strolling across the room to do gain some education on the computer via the Internet before forming an opinion and calling the radio shows with nothing more than recycled here-say or worse, just good old fashioned stupidity.

    Looks like the Dems are showing their true colors by defeating the Republican bill that would fund our troops without any withdrawal timetables.  The Dems continue to tie funding to conditions of  specific dates and earmarks.  They are refusing to provide our service men and women with what they need to win the war in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the overall War on Terror.

    The Dems have a plan to play both sides of  the fence. There is a method to the madness of which Nancy Pelosi stated, that there will unlikely be any further development on a funding bill for the military until after the start of the new year.  Here is the hand I believe the Dems are playing. They are now playing directly into the hearts of their far left fanatics like MoveOn.Org  by denying  funding to the troops. They want  to give the appearance of taking a hard line against the war.  Now Move On will reward the Democratic Party with all the funds they need for their White House bid next year.  I give it until February or early spring before the Dems suddenly become nationalists in favor of the service men and women and provide funding that they need. By this time they will be able to afford concessions to President Bush and his adamant attitude about vetoing any funding bills with withdrawal timetables attached.

   The beautiful thing here is, that the Dems are setting the stage for their own self-destruction. This could not be more delicious.  They are showing the American people that Dems  could care less about whether our service people have what they need before they recess to enjoy their holidays. It is a slap in the face to those that will spend their holidays in harms way protecting our freedom to dwell in safety with our families here at home. I am outraged with the declaration of war that the Dems and their liberal nuts have waged on our military.  There is no pussyfooting around this truth. No funding means no support. No more of the bull of supporting the troops but not the war.

   The Dems can’t hide behind their ridiculous polls any longer because the truth of the matter is, that the majority of Americans want to win the war in Iraq. The same people were understandably angry about the way the war was being handled by Washington. This is what brought the Dems into the majority on Capitol Hill. Ironically, the war is going well, deaths are down, and the Iraqi people are “stepping up to the plate,” to defend their homeland alongside the American Troops.  One would be hard pressed to find much mention of this in the major newspapers or television networks, the majority of which lean to the left, blatantly. 

   The Dems have lost their platform. The only political legs they have to stand on now is the environment and the global warming craze. Then there is the illegal immigration issue. They have no credibility on this issue among Americans.  I dare say, that come November 2008, Americans are going to want leadership that will be tough on national security, keeping taxes low, and securing our borders.  In the latest Democratic debate, some of the candidates had the audacity to state that civil rights of people overseas bears more importance than our own national sovereignty and security. 

    The Republicans have their focus for the remainder of the presidential campaign. We owe it to the Dems.  The Republicans now have to make the Dems feet accountable for their policies. The American people need to be reminded, unyieldingly, that the Dems are a party that is anti-military, will not do what it takes to secure the borders and legislate tough consequences for those that come here illegally.  If Republicans do this, they can let the Dems have all the time left they need to hang themselves.

    The Dems are obviously delusional if they they think the people are consumed by the so called threat of global warming. For this is all they have left in their arsenal. The people have demonstrated that they don’t take kindly to the far left rhetoric against the military. The low turn out rates for these recently released  Hollywood movies depicting our military in a horrific light is evidence.  Tom Cruise, Meryl Strep and the producers of such Anti-American crap should be put on trial for treason. They will be responsible for the propaganda used overseas to recruit more terrorists and put our troops and our citizenry in more danger.  These baffoons are laughing stocks overseas to condemn their own country yet they continue to reside in America.

  In this great nation, these left wing loons have the right to speak their minds, however ridiculous. But I think that the rest of us should hold them and the lawmakers accountable for riding the waves of freedom while degrading the source of these freedoms, the brave men and woman who endure horrors and suffering we can’t imagine.  Every time a service person loses his life, or a limb, or suffers third degree burns, it is a sacrifice made in the name freedom. They desreve better from the American people and those that govern. We should have people arrested as we did during World War II and the Vietnam War that would take part in degrading our military during war time.

 

  It looks like an end to the public service career of yet another politician. In this case, Senator Larry Craig of Idaho. These events are becoming all too common but the only thing it reveals to me, is something that many people seem to disregard and that is, that we are all fallible human beings.

  It is true that what Senator Craig did was reckless and pretty stupid knowing that he is in the public eye. This kind of thing presents a topic for sociological and psychological study and that is a human beings tendency to self-destruct.  Or maybe it is just as simple as getting caught up in the grip of a moment with no forward  thought of  possible consequences. The possibility also exists that an arrogance is present that consequences happen to other people but not to ourselves.

  The intriguing aspect of these events is the fallout that occurs once an infraction becomes public knowledge. You can count on the media to go into a feeding frenzy and everyone will have their opinions.
The consistency in every such circumstance is the absence of any kind of mercy whatsoever.  I don't need to hear that our leaders should be held to a higher standard, that is a given. But I also know that what good a person does over a period of years shouldn't be dismissed after he has revealed that he is a sinner.

 Our society has a serious problem when it comes to judging other people. Jesus Christ said it best when he told the people that were ready to stone a woman for her sin, "Those of you without sin, go ahead and cast the first stone."  In today's world it is all about appearances. As long as we all appear to be a paragon of virtue, and can manage to keep our own skeletons in a closet, then we are free to cast as many stones as we wish at others who screw up. This is our world. Anyone reading this that can't think of something in their lives that they are ashamed of is a "liar" indeed. I feel bold enough in saying this because of my faith in God and what he has said about his creation. Not one is worthy or without sin. No one is good His eyes.  I realized this one day when it was just me, God, and a mirror. I looked at myself.  I saw a person that has a good heart and cares about people but there were many failings and weaknesses present as well. This is not an easy thing to do. I think that human beings lives are changed, for the better, when and if they reach this stage in life.  To look into that mirror to and see what is behind the face or masks that we wear .

  The Republican Party were justified in asking Senator Craig to step down from his leadership duties and perhaps even his Senate seat. These are the natural consequences that result from sin. I know I have had to face some painful ones. I also realize that it takes enormous maturity to accept the responsibility. The pain of wishing you could change that one bad decision never goes away but you pray for strength to move on and make better ones.

  What I have a problem with, are those who will get on a soap box and go beyond condemning the person. Let's take Senator Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. He had the audacity to make a statement that what Senator Craig has done is "unforgivable." Where the hell does he get off making such a statement?  He and others like him, are so pious when it comes to sexual infractions. Who is in a position to decide which sin is worse than another? Where does God say that sexual sin is worse than any other in the Bible? Sex or inferences to sex is almost in every part of our society. It is all over television. It is rampant on the internet. We live in a wonderful country but let's face it, America is a decadent nation with a population that is hedonistic at best. We are one of the few nations that are so uptight about sex and the appearances of piety. God help anyone that gets caught up in a public sex scandal. This coming from a society that doesn't know how to stay married anymore. How many of us wait  until marriage to engage in sex? How many of us have engaged in public sex? Yes, public sex! Perhaps not in a bathroom but how about the backseat of that Chevy, down at place like the beach front or perhaps a place like "Watch Out Mountain," or the all too familiar "Lovers Lane?" Many things we have done. The mistake Senator Craig made was getting caught.
 
 The real telling part of this kind of instance, is you really find out who your friends are. Everyone has publicly turned against Senator Craig to save their own political asses. Friendship is a word used too casually in our society. Acquaintance should be used more widely. You can show support for a person while not condoning his behavior. I am a firm believer in that Golden Rule of "do unto others.." I try to live my life by it, key word being try. You never know when you will need a little mercy or support in this crazy world of ours. Why not try giving a little to our fellow human being Senator Larry Craig?
