According to most publications, Barrack Obama has the black vote in America. He doesn't have this African-American's support. I am mystified, however, that so many people are blindly following this man, of unknown origin, knowing only that he is the Senator of Illinois.
Barrack Obama may be a charasmatic speaker but this doesn't explain why he seems to hypnotize so many Americans with a few cliches that have absolutely no substance whatsoever. If you want to give new meaning to the word "trite", Obama has it hands down. How many times can one stand to hear "change," "hope," and "yes, we can?" I hear Obama's words in my sleep. I keep asking, "What change is this guy talking about and how does he plan to implement this alleged change?" "What are we hoping for and what is it that "we" can do?" When looking at some of the positions that Obama stands for, he is a carbon copy of Hillary Clinton. At least, with Clinton, I didn't have to actually go onto the internet to see what this guy's position is on some of the issues.
Fortunately, some things are starting to come out about Mr. Obama. Obama's pastor, Jeremiah Wright is a good place to start. Obama's Mr. Wright's rantings about how America is the cause of its problem with terrorists, calling on God to damn America, and his anti-semetic rhetoric, reveals much, whether Obama thinks so or not. Noone wants to be guilty by association but Obama has a serious problem and it isn't going to go away. My mother always said to me, "That people will be able to tell a lot about you by the friends you choose or who you associate with." Obama stated that Mr. Wright is like and uncle to him and that you don't always agree with what a relative says. Not good enough bud. If you have made yourself a member of a church for over twenty years, you are showing your support for that church, its leadership, and the membeship.
Barrack Obama did a terrible job of explaining this away. He attempted to make us believe that he was not privy to any of the types of statements in his twenty year attendance, made by his pastor. He went on to infer that if Pastor Wright made such statements, it must have occurred on Sundays that he missed while his children were being born or for whatever reasons that could have caused him to miss a Sunday service. Obama's supporters are on televeison saying that America has more important things to be concerned with and that we should get back to the issues. I am all for getting to the issues but Obama has not focused on the issues, especially national defense. All we know about him, is that he feels that we should negotiate with terrorists and the likes of Ahmadenejad of Iran. Obama's supporters have done nothing but swoon over his eloquence to speak about absolutely nothing.
A person running for president knows that his background will become an open book. Americans want to know as much information about a candidate as possible. They only have the candidates associations and positions to make sound choices. The fact that Barrack Obama was a member of a church that is lead by an ethnocentric bigot, speaks volumes. If the American people let him off with a pass on this, they are more gullible than I ever feared.
Obama has built his campaign on transcending race. It is ironic that he belongs to a church whose pastor is a racially polarizing individual. The church's mission has nationalistic fervor. Jeremiah Wright's pulpit pulls away from the teachings of a loving Christ that commands that one loves his neighbor and sinks into social activism that is unparallel to the ministry of Jesus Christ. It is frightening to have observed on the media clips, Mr. Wright's rantings with members of the congregation jumping up patting him on the back, gesturing their accord with his teachings. Evidence of the Obamas' embracing Wright's indoctrination, is the recent comment Michelle Obama made about being proud of America for the first time because America was embracing her husband, a black man. This statement coming from an African-American woman that was afforded the opportunity to go to an Ivy League School and become an attorney.
We live in a nation of immigrants that encourages individuals to celebrate their heritage. African-Americans are among this group. But when the pride of heritage leads to nationalistic and ethnocentric attitudes, it becomes not only problemmatic but, in my opinion, also a paradox of sorts. How can someone such as Jeremiah Wright live in and enjoy all of the freedoms of the United States, yet so openly denounce her? History records a time in which Mr. Wright would have been labeled a "communist."
Barrack Obama's racial transcendency platform has back fired on him. He has attempted to now to publicly separate himself from Jeremiah Wright. I believe Obama's membership with his church, on the south side of Chicago, was in part to ingratiate himself to the black community. He embraced this pastor and the mission of the congregation. Obama can't sepearate himself from this because it is now inconveneient to his campaign. "The chickens have indeed come home to roost."
Whether proponents for Obama like it or not, Obama's character is in question. Two decades being a member of a church headed by what I believe is a false teacher. The Bible speaks of such people that will lead some of God's people contrary to the principles of Christianity. Jeremiah Wright is a "wolf in sheeps clothing." The sheep represents the church. Obama is within a congragation that is at least brainwashed and at worst racist ignoramuses. I applaud this event, hoping to get these hypnotized Americans to snap out of their Obama trance and come back down to earth. People, start seriously scruntinizing this man they want to put into the Oval Office and answer the crisis hotline at 3:00 AM.
