It is Time for the Black Community to See the True Face of the Democratic Party

I was pondering the fact that I educated myself on the background of the Democratic Party and realized that they were no friend to the black community. Most important, my Christian principles are incongruent with the Democratic Party's liberal philosophies which are predominantly in opposition to the teachings of Christ. The hard fact is that we as a black community have stunted our growth because of  self- proclaimed victimhood, reversed racism, refusal to think for ourselves and a pandering Democratic Party that self-servingly keeps us where we are.

Barrack Obama's ascendency as the first African American to become President of the United States and the blind support from the black community, has polarized all that is wrong with the relationship the Democratic Party has forged with the black community. I wonder what is it that makes most blacks support and follow a democrat even in cases where they barely know the name of the candidate nor anything about his personal ideals or set of beliefs? It seems the brand "Democrat" is quite enough. This is a powerful accomplishment on the part of the democratic party. They have managed to demonize the Republican Party by leftist education and indoctrination. If you want to see this at work just step into a classroom in today's colleges and universities. They have pandered to something within people that drive them to want to be provided for instead of picking yourself up by the boot straps and providing for yourself. Instead of teaching a people that they live in a country where the Founding Fathers assured an atmosphere where men would be on equal footing to work toward and achieve their dreams whatever they may be. Racism and discrimination was not part of the vision. It did rear it's ugly head and gained a footing in this nation that lead to slavery and major oppression of blacks in America.

Sadly, the Democratic Party seized on an opportunity to gain indefinite support from within a community that was demoralized and devastated as a result of their plight. It all began with revisionist teaching of the Civil Rights Movement. Democrats omitted the fact that it was Republicans that lead the charge for equality. Back in 1854, most blacks were Republicans. The irony is that today, blacks share more values of the Republican Party than those of Democrats such as their belief in traditional marriage and opposition to abortion. So what happened?

Demorats have run black communities for the last 50 years and turned them into social and economic disasters yet they have blamed Republicans and stated that they refuse to help the poor. As recent as President George W. Bush's time in office, he set forth over $500 Billion which was dispersed over into dozens of poverty related programs. The Democrats have skillfully taught the black community to hate Republicans by preaching hatred with the subtle democratic message that if you support us we will support you in your victimhood, in staying poor and uneducated. If you decide that you want to become productive citizens through your own hard efforts by getting a job, becoming educated and successful, then you can count on the Democratic Party  to demoralize you by calling you haters of your own race, "Uncle Tom" or how about a "House N Word?' I understand this well as I have been called these and more from members of my own black community because I dared to voice that there is a better way for the blacks.

An important lesson I learned about Democrats and liberals are that they are hypocrites. They preach about tolerance and free speech but dare to oppose their ideals and they are the most vile and vicious individuals you ever want to meet. For example look at the treatment that Governor Sarah Palin receives from liberals, especially women. The Feminist Movement promoting equality and sisterhood goes right out the window when these liberal women attack Governor Palin. Their credibility is shot. Just take a look at some of the scathing articles written about Palin, such as a Salon article written by so called feminist Cintra Wilson. Wilson is not in short supply. Her article was so disgusting and filled with expletives. They have tried to destroy this woman of conservative values. The unintended consequence for the Democrats is that their treatment of Palin only emboldens support for her because it demonstrates the sheer fear that liberals have of this woman. Let that be a lesson to all Republicans, if you get this kind of opposition and disdain from liberals, you are on the right track.

Blacks can be encouraged by the election of Obama, that things have changed for the better with race relations. Even Obama is more than he appears to be. He is just another democratic animal with just more of the same with radical Marxist intentions.. He isn't a true advocate for the black community. He advocates the typical democratic part line, big and bigger government that promises the black community that his government will take care as opposed to encouraging them to rise above the nanny machine known as the US Government.

Republicans must start to speak on not only issues of the social and economic but must educate blacks on the true history of the Civil Rights Movement. It will be revealed that Democrats are nothing but race baiters that accuses Republicans of being haters of blacks who denied them their civil rights during the 1960's. I read an awesome article to points the way to a civil rights publication that sets the record straight on the whole situation. This newsletter is called the NBRA Civil Rights Newsletter found at www.NBRA.info. This information came from an article "Can Republicans Win the Black Vote" ? By Frances Rice.

I am trying to figure out a way that I can be a part of educating my fellow black brothers and sisters, waking them from a lengthy slumber, to the hidden agenda that Democrats have had for decades. If we as a people start to love education and begin to use critical thinking about the world we live in, we can start to see ourselves outside of the democratic quagmire many of us are stuck in. The key to any strategic success is learning whom and what the true, real enemy is within the war. In this case, the war is one to be waged that breaks blacks out of the victimhood mentality and to deplore the belief that we need to be taken care of. As a community, we are to thank our God that we live in a country which produced black and non-black men and women willing to fight side by side to provide the opportunity for us to strive and compete for the American Dream. As a result of their efforts, we have, not the right to succeed but the right to strive for success. Our success depends on our efforts and tenacity to pursue until that success is realized, however the individual defines it.If nothing else, Obama is evidence that the playing field is as equal as it has ever been in America. Blacks in America have to stand up and make the Democrats earn our votes instead of taking them for granted.

Israel Deserves Better

It seems as if Israel has finally started showing some teeth after endless rocket attacks by the Hamas. Once again, it is also time for the anti-Israel sentiment, if not antisemitism to rear its ugly head right here in America.

There were times this past week that I could not bear to listen to talk radio anymore because of the ignorant people calling in blasting Israel for defending itself. It saddens me to see how uninformed so many of my fellow citizens are. Before bothering to take a little time to investigate the situation, with perhaps a little history lesson on Israel and the middle eastern region, they rant and rave about how Palestinians are being murdered with absolutely no regard for what it must be like for Israel to have entered into peace agreements time and again conceding land, like the Gaza Strip on which the Palestinians reside, and have them broken for no apparent reason. The Israelis are repaid with rockets being fired into their land. I don’t think any American can imagine what it must be like to have bombs going off at any given moment in the back of their homes. Perhaps some of us should have the opportunity to experience some of the carnage that the Israelis have had to endure. We had 9/11, but that was a whole seven years ago with no attacks on the homeland, thanks to President George W. Bush and his determination to play hardball, resulting in losing the popularity contests the democrats want so bad to win at all costs.

I hate the fact that innocent civilians are dying in Gaza like most people. I believe that the people should take control of their destinies. They elected a terrorist organization to run their territory. They are well aware that Hamas situates it strategic operations among the citizenry to ensure maximum casualties, if retaliatory strikes occur as a result of their evil deeds. Shouldn’t the people have to deal with the consequences of allowing this to happen to them? They are capable of protesting against Hamas. They surely get motivated and take to the streets to denounce the United States and burn its flag. The people outnumber the terrorists. Moderate, so called peace loving Arabs, outnumber the terrorists. So where is the righteous indignation and the rising up to say enough is enough? The terrorists or extremists would have to pack up and go.

I wish that Americans that advocate for the Palestinians, learn once and for all, that there is no Palestinian nation. There never was such a nation known as Palestine in the history of the world, therefore, the Israelis are not encroaching on a sovereign territory. The land of Israel is a recognized and sovereign nation by most of the world. Why should the Israelis support the formation of a Palestinian State when the Palestinians refuse to concede Israel’s right to exist? It is about give and take, and Israel has been doing all of the giving with its territories as a result of international pressure, unfortunately, the U.S. was included in the process. It has been deemed “land for peace”. Where is the peace? That is all that the people of Israel want, is the right to exist and exist in peace.

I can deal with the pictures and stories of hatred toward Israel from overseas. These are deluded and backward people that are no more than a means to an end at the hands of  these extremist groups they revere. Israel deserves better from civilized Americans. I guess that we are just too comfortable and decadent in this nation that we can’t even take the time to see what the fuss is all about, outside of what the television tells us. Heaven forbid, this might require strolling across the room to do gain some education on the computer via the Internet before forming an opinion and calling the radio shows with nothing more than recycled here-say or worse, just good old fashioned stupidity.

Obama: The Political Schizophrenic

Barrack Obama's candidacy has taken on schizophrenic proportions in recent weeks. He appears to be marching his platform away from the far left and more toward the center, but failing to inhibit his natural tendenicies toward radical liberalism. The evidence lies in his flip-flopping on core issues such as gay marriage and the Iraq War. This African-American urges my black sisters and brethren to reconsder their blind faith in this politician.

Obama has seemed to move closer to Clintonian politics . He realizes that nurturing the far left, as he did in tthe primaries, won't get him to Pennsylvania Avenue in Novemeber. No presidential candidate can take the White House without being more of a centrist as the Clintons demonstrated. Obama's success running on the convoluted promises of change won't be enough during this geneal election noespecially when Senator Mccain starts to take the gloves off.

Not unlike a chameleon, Obama has declared that he is no longer supporting unconditional withdrawal from Iraq. He has stated that he will consult with the military generals on the ground and accept their recommendations. Obama has taken up the torch in support of faith-based intitatives in an attempt to woo Evangelicals. This will be a futile attempt, given his unwavering support in the past on partial-birth abortion and new found support for gay marriage. Obama has done an about face with his position on whether gays should be allowed to marry. He took the position that mariage should be defined as between a man and a woman. He now states, that not alllowing gays to be married is discriminatory and unconstitutional. Obama supports the recent California Supreme Court's overruling of the people, paving the way for gays to marry in that State.

Another political identity manifested itself during a July 2, 2008 speech,Senator Obama gave on community service in America. He declared that he would mandate community service with academic curricula at the high school and college levels. High school students would have to complete 50 hours of service in order to graduate. College students would have to complete 100 hours of service in order to receive federal aid. The community service would be subject to federal approval and oversight.

Obama's current rhetoric is frightening and fascist.  Every freedom loving American should have gotten a chill after hearing Obama speak. The liberal media's relative silence on theses issues and on Obama's mutliplicity are noteworthy but unsurprising. He has been a "media darling" from the beginning of the primaries. Nevertheless, Obama's thirst for massive federal intervention is staggering even for a Democrat. The taxpayers pockets will be the target of his appetite for massive government.

Obama's supporters, especially those within the black community should wake up and see this man for what he is. As a black man, I say, get over the historical euphoria of having the first black president. What is too high a cost to see this to fruition? What is Obama offering the black community? He could sway my support if he would advocate black self-awareness. It wasn't enough for him to speak about being a responsible parent at a church on Father's Day. If he would hold a mirror up to the collective black condition and urge old-fashioned hard work and cooperation with the elimination of black on black crime. If Obama would promote educational intitiatives with emphasis on literacy, denouncing big governement programs that lead to dependency instead of providing tools used to lead to self-sufficiency, he may get my vote.

I am disheartened to suggest that Obama would never be a positive agent for change within the black community, even if he was so inclined. This would be a courageous endeavor because he would face more than his share of criticism and outrage from some blacks. He would undoubtedly be labeled an "Uncle Tom," not unlike the reception Bill Cosby has received in the past for addressing the ills of black society while calling for personal responsibility. Unfortunately, the Democratic Party has exploited this for years and will continue to do so in order to receive the majority of the black vote in elections. Thank God, that I saw the light and became a Black Republican.

Barrack Obama is a danger to democracy and freedom. His support of the judicial activism of the California Supreme Court is a direct attack on democracy, the consensus of the people vis-a-vis voting. This is the kind of action that takes our society on a path to dictatorship. Obama also supported the Federal Supreme Court's decision to give enemy combatants the right to "due process," as if they  are American citizens. This is just another example of the insidious way Americans' can lose freedoms and national soverignty. Obama is nothing more than a typical politician that craves power. He will say or do anything to seize hold of it. He is a unique animal, however. Obama is highly educated, shrewd, eloquent, and manipulative.

Obama's Eloquence Won't Make Wright Association Go Away

According to most publications, Barrack Obama has the black vote in America. He doesn't have this African-American's support. I am mystified, however, that so many people are blindly following this man, of unknown origin, knowing only that he is the Senator of Illinois.

Barrack Obama may be a charasmatic speaker but this doesn't explain why he seems to hypnotize so many Americans with a few cliches that have absolutely no substance whatsoever.  If you want to give new meaning to the word "trite", Obama has it hands down. How many times can one stand to hear "change," "hope," and "yes, we can?" I hear Obama's words in my sleep. I keep asking, "What change is this guy talking about and how does he plan to implement this alleged change?" "What are we hoping for and what is it that "we" can do?"
When looking at some of the positions that Obama stands for, he is a carbon copy of Hillary Clinton. At least, with Clinton, I didn't have to actually go onto the internet to see what this guy's position is on some of the issues.

Fortunately, some things are starting to come out about Mr. Obama. Obama's pastor, Jeremiah Wright is a good place to start. Obama's Mr. Wright's rantings about how America is the cause of its problem with terrorists, calling on God to damn America, and his anti-semetic rhetoric, reveals much, whether Obama thinks so or not. Noone wants to be guilty by association but Obama has a serious problem and it isn't going to go away. My mother always said to me, "That people will be able to tell a lot about you by the friends you choose or who you associate with." Obama stated that Mr. Wright is like and uncle to him and that you don't always agree with what a relative says. Not good enough bud.  If you have made yourself a member of a church for over twenty years, you are showing your support for that church, its leadership, and the membeship.

Barrack Obama did a terrible job of explaining this away. He attempted to make us believe that he was not privy to any of the types of statements in his twenty year attendance, made by his pastor. He went on to infer that if Pastor Wright made such statements, it must have occurred on Sundays that he missed while his children were being born or for whatever reasons that could have caused him to miss a Sunday service.  Obama's supporters are on televeison saying that America has more important things to be concerned with and that we should get back to the issues. I am all for getting to the issues but Obama has not focused on the issues, especially national defense. All we know about him, is that he feels that we should negotiate with terrorists and the likes of Ahmadenejad of Iran. Obama's supporters have done nothing but swoon over his eloquence to speak about absolutely nothing.

A person running for president knows that his background will become an open book. Americans want to know as much information about a candidate as possible. They only have the candidates associations and positions to make sound choices. The fact that Barrack Obama was a member of a church that is lead by an ethnocentric bigot, speaks volumes. If the American people let him off with a pass on this, they are more gullible than I ever feared.

Obama has built his campaign on transcending race. It is ironic that he belongs to a church whose pastor is a racially polarizing individual. The church's mission has nationalistic fervor. Jeremiah Wright's pulpit pulls away from the teachings of a loving Christ that commands that one loves his neighbor and sinks into social activism that is unparallel to the ministry of Jesus Christ. It is frightening to have observed on the media clips, Mr. Wright's rantings with members of the congregation jumping up patting him on the back, gesturing their accord with his teachings. Evidence of the Obamas' embracing Wright's indoctrination, is the recent comment Michelle Obama made about being proud of America for the first time because America was embracing her husband, a black man. This statement coming from an African-American woman that was afforded the opportunity to go to an Ivy League School and become an attorney.

We live in a nation of immigrants that encourages individuals to celebrate their heritage. African-Americans are among this group. But when the pride of heritage leads to nationalistic and ethnocentric attitudes, it becomes not only problemmatic but, in my opinion, also a paradox of sorts. How can someone such as Jeremiah Wright live in and enjoy all of the freedoms of the United States, yet so openly denounce her? History records a time in which Mr. Wright would have been labeled a "communist."

Barrack Obama's racial transcendency platform has back fired on him. He has attempted to now to publicly separate himself from Jeremiah Wright. I believe Obama's membership with his church, on the south side of Chicago, was in part to ingratiate himself to the black community. He embraced this pastor and the mission of the congregation. Obama can't sepearate himself from this because it is now inconveneient to his campaign. "The chickens have indeed come home to roost."

Whether proponents for Obama like it or not, Obama's character is in question. Two decades being a member of a church headed by what I believe is a false teacher. The Bible speaks of such people that will lead some of God's people contrary to the principles of Christianity. Jeremiah Wright is a "wolf in sheeps clothing." The sheep represents the church. Obama is within a congragation that is at least brainwashed and at worst racist ignoramuses. I applaud this event, hoping to get these hypnotized Americans to snap out of their Obama trance and come back down to earth. People, start seriously scruntinizing this man they want to put into the Oval Office and answer the crisis hotline at 3:00 AM.

Democrats/Liberals Hate Our Military

Looks like the Dems are showing their true colors by defeating the Republican bill that would fund our troops without any withdrawal timetables.  The Dems continue to tie funding to conditions of  specific dates and earmarks.  They are refusing to provide our service men and women with what they need to win the war in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the overall War on Terror.

The Dems have a plan to play both sides of  the fence. There is a method to the madness of which Nancy Pelosi stated, that there will unlikely be any further development on a funding bill for the military until after the start of the new year.  Here is the hand I believe the Dems are playing. They are now playing directly into the hearts of their far left fanatics like MoveOn.Org  by denying  funding to the troops. They want  to give the appearance of taking a hard line against the war.  Now Move On will reward the Democratic Party with all the funds they need for their White House bid next year.  I give it until February or early spring before the Dems suddenly become nationalists in favor of the service men and women and provide funding that they need. By this time they will be able to afford concessions to President Bush and his adamant attitude about vetoing any funding bills with withdrawal timetables attached.

The beautiful thing here is, that the Dems are setting the stage for their own self-destruction. This could not be more delicious.  They are showing the American people that Dems  could care less about whether our service people have what they need before they recess to enjoy their holidays. It is a slap in the face to those that will spend their holidays in harms way protecting our freedom to dwell in safety with our families here at home. I am outraged with the declaration of war that the Dems and their liberal nuts have waged on our military.  There is no pussyfooting around this truth. No funding means no support. No more of the bull of supporting the troops but not the war.

The Dems can’t hide behind their ridiculous polls any longer because the truth of the matter is, that the majority of Americans want to win the war in Iraq. The same people were understandably angry about the way the war was being handled by Washington. This is what brought the Dems into the majority on Capitol Hill. Ironically, the war is going well, deaths are down, and the Iraqi people are “stepping up to the plate,” to defend their homeland alongside the American Troops.  One would be hard pressed to find much mention of this in the major newspapers or television networks, the majority of which lean to the left, blatantly.

The Dems have lost their platform. The only political legs they have to stand on now is the environment and the global warming craze. Then there is the illegal immigration issue. They have no credibility on this issue among Americans.  I dare say, that come November 2008, Americans are going to want leadership that will be tough on national security, keeping taxes low, and securing our borders.  In the latest Democratic debate, some of the candidates had the audacity to state that civil rights of people overseas bears more importance than our own national sovereignty and security.

The Republicans have their focus for the remainder of the presidential campaign. We owe it to the Dems.  The Republicans now have to make the Dems feet accountable for their policies. The American people need to be reminded, unyieldingly, that the Dems are a party that is anti-military, will not do what it takes to secure the borders and legislate tough consequences for those that come here illegally.  If Republicans do this, they can let the Dems have all the time left they need to hang themselves.

The Dems are obviously delusional if they they think the people are consumed by the so called threat of global warming. For this is all they have left in their arsenal. The people have demonstrated that they don’t take kindly to the far left rhetoric against the military. The low turn out rates for these recently released  Hollywood movies depicting our military in a horrific light is evidence.  Tom Cruise, Meryl Strep and the producers of such Anti-American crap should be put on trial for treason. They will be responsible for the propaganda used overseas to recruit more terrorists and put our troops and our citizenry in more danger.  These baffoons are laughing stocks overseas to condemn their own country yet they continue to reside in America.

In this great nation, these left wing loons have the right to speak their minds, however ridiculous. But I think that the rest of us should hold them and the lawmakers accountable for riding the waves of freedom while degrading the source of these freedoms, the brave men and woman who endure horrors and suffering we can’t imagine.  Every time a service person loses his life, or a limb, or suffers third degree burns, it is a sacrifice made in the name freedom. They desreve better from the American people and those that govern. We should have people arrested as we did during World War II and the Vietnam War that would take part in degrading our military during war time.

"THOSE WITHOUT SIN, CAST THE FIRST STONE!"

It looks like an end to the public service career of yet another politician. In this case, Senator Larry Craig of Idaho. These events are becoming all too common but the only thing it reveals to me, is something that many people seem to disregard and that is, that we are all fallible human beings.

It is true that what Senator Craig did was reckless and pretty stupid knowing that he is in the public eye. This kind of thing presents a topic for sociological and psychological study and that is a human beings tendency to self-destruct.  Or maybe it is just as simple as getting caught up in the grip of a moment with no forward  thought of  possible consequences. The possibility also exists that an arrogance is present that consequences happen to other people but not to ourselves.

The intriguing aspect of these events is the fallout that occurs once an infraction becomes public knowledge. You can count on the media to go into a feeding frenzy and everyone will have their opinions.
The consistency in every such circumstance is the absence of any kind of mercy whatsoever.  I don't need to hear that our leaders should be held to a higher standard, that is a given. But I also know that what good a person does over a period of years shouldn't be dismissed after he has revealed that he is a sinner.

Our society has a serious problem when it comes to judging other people. Jesus Christ said it best when he told the people that were ready to stone a woman for her sin, "Those of you without sin, go ahead and cast the first stone."  In today's world it is all about appearances. As long as we all appear to be a paragon of virtue, and can manage to keep our own skeletons in a closet, then we are free to cast as many stones as we wish at others who screw up. This is our world. Anyone reading this that can't think of something in their lives that they are ashamed of is a "liar" indeed. I feel bold enough in saying this because of my faith in God and what he has said about his creation. Not one is worthy or without sin. No one is good His eyes.  I realized this one day when it was just me, God, and a mirror. I looked at myself.  I saw a person that has a good heart and cares about people but there were many failings and weaknesses present as well. This is not an easy thing to do. I think that human beings lives are changed, for the better, when and if they reach this stage in life.  To look into that mirror to and see what is behind the face or masks that we wear .

The Republican Party were justified in asking Senator Craig to step down from his leadership duties and perhaps even his Senate seat. These are the natural consequences that result from sin. I know I have had to face some painful ones. I also realize that it takes enormous maturity to accept the responsibility. The pain of wishing you could change that one bad decision never goes away but you pray for strength to move on and make better ones.

What I have a problem with, are those who will get on a soap box and go beyond condemning the person. Let's take Senator Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. He had the audacity to make a statement that what Senator Craig has done is "unforgivable." Where the hell does he get off making such a statement?  He and others like him, are so pious when it comes to sexual infractions. Who is in a position to decide which sin is worse than another? Where does God say that sexual sin is worse than any other in the Bible? Sex or inferences to sex is almost in every part of our society. It is all over television. It is rampant on the internet. We live in a wonderful country but let's face it, America is a decadent nation with a population that is hedonistic at best. We are one of the few nations that are so uptight about sex and the appearances of piety. God help anyone that gets caught up in a public sex scandal. This coming from a society that doesn't know how to stay married anymore. How many of us wait  until marriage to engage in sex? How many of us have engaged in public sex? Yes, public sex! Perhaps not in a bathroom but how about the backseat of that Chevy, down at place like the beach front or perhaps a place like "Watch Out Mountain," or the all too familiar "Lovers Lane?" Many things we have done. The mistake Senator Craig made was getting caught.

The real telling part of this kind of instance, is you really find out who your friends are. Everyone has publicly turned against Senator Craig to save their own political asses. Friendship is a word used too casually in our society. Acquaintance should be used more widely. You can show support for a person while not condoning his behavior. I am a firm believer in that Golden Rule of "do unto others.." I try to live my life by it, key word being try. You never know when you will need a little mercy or support in this crazy world of ours. Why not try giving a little to our fellow human being Senator Larry Craig?

Democrats Will Hail Bad News From Iraq

The news isn’t good from Iraq. American deaths are up and it is going to be World War III on Capitol Hill in September. I am sure that the Democrats are salivating at the news. We can expect to hear more of the asinine comments from that clown Harry Reid before long, for which he has become so well versed.

What is really unbelievable is that the war opponents in Congress take every opportunity to make a public spectacle of their divisiveness for all the media to see, therefore the entire world. Do they care that the terrorists can turn on a television or a radio and plan their attacks by taking cues from Congress? It doesn’t tax the imagination that with the deadline approaching for reviewing the war in September, will result in escalated attacks on our soldiers by the terrorists to influence events here at home. It really is sobering to think that a powerful nation such as the United States of America can be influenced by a bunch of crazed, religious fanatics. It is even more sobering that the Democrats are openly handing Iraq to them

If there were ever a time when this nation should be unified, now is the time. We have an extremist ideology that wants to wipe America from the face of the earth.  In a democratic society, it is wonderful that people can disagree about issues. But when American lives are on the line, it is unacceptable to make these issues known to the world.  Members of Congress should have closed door meetings to air their differences about the war instead of grand standing at every media opportunity to demonstrate the traders they are.

I am tired of the political correctness of this society. I intend to call the Democrats exactly what they are. They are “Enemies of the State.” They should all be charged with treason and that goes for any “turn coat” Republicans as well.  In a time of war, you love, support this nation and the men and women willing to die for it and the citizens or you pack your bags and get out. Just do everyone a favor and GET OUT! Spend some time over in those terrorist camps in Pakistan. I am sure they will welcome you with all they have to offer such as road- side bombs, rifles, and beheading swords.

There is no other way to conduct a successful war than to show the world that we are united behind our soldiers and our President. This is obviously appalling to liberals but in a world that has become much smaller with technology, there is no other way. The Democrats could care less the jeopardy they are putting our troops in with their big mouths and their pitiful, ridiculous non-binding resolutions with time tables to bring the soldiers home.

It will be a dark day for all of us if the Democrats take the White House. It is bad enough that President Clinton made the CIA, America’s first line of defense, all but defunct with the cut backs of personnel and funding at a time the nation was facing perils unlike anything we had faced. I believe Clinton referred to the CIA as a “Cold War Relic”. Here came 9/11. The country had to begin rebuilding the CIA to be an intelligence force to be reckoned with again, to prevent the mass slaughtering of more Americans.

I am just an American that loves this country and finds it unfantomable, that the Democratic Party wants to lose this war for political  gain and its unbridled hatred for the President I acknowledge that we have many faults and imperfections. I would not want to live anywhere else on the planet. I realize that we as a nation are facing pure evil, unlike anything since Hitler. I pray for President Bush and hope for another Republican Administration that will care enough not to let the U.S. become a negligible power, unwilling to fight for freedom, for ourselves or others unable to do so in the world.

Democrats & Liberals Will Be The Death Of America

While watching a recent installment of Fox’s Hannity and Colmes Show, I decided that I have even less tolerance than I first believed for Alan Colmes and other liberals.

Today, one is supposed to be politically correct and temper one’s opinion while respecting countering viewpoints. After all that is our First Amendment right. The world would be a better place if liberals would just realize that the conservative way is the best way for America. It is astonishing how different liberals and conservatives really are.

The discussion on this particular show was about how Iran is waging a proxy war against the United States by supplying our enemies with weaponry and undoubtedly, training as well, to kill our soldiers in Iraq. Independent Joe Lieberman sees the threat that Iran poses and bluntly has stated that military action may be required against Iran.

This new dialogue with Iran is such a waste of time.  The Bush Administration has to be faulted with failing to see the folly in this venture of diplomacy with a bunch of liars. Perhaps, this is to shut the liberals up who believe in diplomacy at all costs no matter how fruitless.

It is more than amusing to watch liberals, such as Alan Colmes, begin to foam at the mouth at the mere mention of possible confrontation with Iran. Barrack Obama, said it best in the recent debate.,“That America needs to show strength through peace.” I don’t know if he realized how powerful a statement that was. This would be the Democrats foreign policy. What country can you think of that has maintained freedom by peace alone? The United States wouldn’t be in the position it is today if not for the will to use force. Liberals denounce force at all costs. Unless Usama Bin Laden himself marches onto Colmes’ street and blows up something, would reality jolt him and those like him.  Al Queda has been fighting a declared war on us since before 9/11.

Meanwhile, in Iran we have  a president that has taken on the persona of Adolph Hitler calling for the destruction of Israel and the U.S. The man has stated that he does not recognize the Holocaust as being an event that actually took place. How does a liberal respond to this? If anyone has gotten a straight answer or one based in my reality, I would like to know. Again, it is let’s set up a dialogue. Let us talk with the lunatics running the countries in Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, and North Korea.

Alan Colmes spoke of war games that have been fought with Iran and that all of the outcomes were disastrous. Someone should inform him that no outcome would be as disastrous as a nuclear bomb being dropped on an American city or one of our allies such as Israel.  Liberals do not seem to realize that if Iran gets a nuclear weapon, they will use it on America and Israel.

Iran is front and center. The Iranians are the problem in Iraq and in the region. They want to dominate politics in the region and squeeze the U.S. out altogether. Everyone is growing weary of the conflict in Iraq and we will not be victorious until Iran is dealt with, like it or not, this means more conflict.

It looks like Iran is going to be the next President’s problem whether Democrat or Republican. Iran will demand to be dealt with by its very nature. The new administration will have to do better than the Bush Administration’s shaking a finger at Iran telling them that we know they are supplying weaponry to our enemies. For my liberal critics, I am able to point out the faults of President Bush and conservatives as well.  Conservatives just happen to be right more than they are wrong.

What Does Obama Stand For?

Mr. Obama stated that the religious right uses religion as a weapon to divide the populace rather than unite it.so what he has decided to do is to vilify the religious side of the aisle to assure votes from the far left liberal base. What better way to mobilize the left than to get onto the subject of religion. A very clever tactic, I concede to Mr. Obama.

How would Obama define the unification between the liberal left and the religious right? would it mean that those on the right must accept the views of the left which supports subtracting the Judeo-Christian God from American society? The liberals that make up the ACLU attack anything that is a symbol of the Christian faith that is the very heart of what formed America. Should the religious right unite with the liberal left which seeks to redefine American principles and morals of the United states such as the institution of marriage? The left seeks to redefine marriage to include every lifestyle outside of the traditional man and woman union.

Religious conservatives should not compromise or give up living life in reality. Conservatives more often than not, look at issues facing our nation according to facts. Liberals see reality in a different manner and face issues with emotional perspective. they think decisions should be made according to whether or not one gets a warm, "fuzzy" feeling. Speaking as a Christian conservative, I am resigned to the fact that there will always be division with the left. I am on the side that is for maintaining the U.S. Constitution and the ideals set forth by the Founding Fathers of America. the other side seeks to shape a society that is indulgent in decadence and self-rule, interpreting a Constitution to fit whatever whim develops.

Mr. Obama's problem with his candidacy lies with the fact that he isn't running on a platform. What does he stand for? What does he believe in?  By attacking the religious right he has found that it will take more to get elected than being a media darling. Obama is a novelty that will fade like all others. He lacks experience, especially with foreign policy. He may get many black voted because of the color of his skin but I learned recently that the Democratic Party is the enemy of Black America. the problem is that many others like myself haven't discovered this yet. It is, however, more blacks starting to take a look at the Republican Party. Hispanics are ahead of us in this as shown by the results of the last presidential race.

Mr. Obama has chosen his path for the 2008 campaign. It will undoubtedly prove fatal for his presidential bid. History has shown that one doesn't reach the White House that  strays too far from the center on the ideological spectrum. He is ignoring the strategies of his democratic opponent , Hilary Clinton. More importantly, he isn't paying attention to the campaign that put Hillary's husband, Bill, in the White House for eight years.

Democrats Continue To Offer Nothing

Am I the only one that is sick and tired of hearing these lame liberals and turn coat Republicans whining, " We should have never gone into Iraq?" This has become so trite. Hilary is leading the charge as she becomes the persona of the lead 'flip-flopper" himself, John Kerry.

I must say that there is a God in Heaven that will keep us from enduring another presidential campaign that includes John Kerry. Was there ever really any doubt that he wouldn't run again, after he put his foot in his mouth with that remark about people choosing to join the military? If he didn't know, he should have soberly realized that he had a snow balls chance in hell of being elected president. Never mind being elected president while the U.S. is in a state of war.

President Bush has challenged the Democrats to counter his plan for winning in Iraq with a plan of their own. No one has stepped up to the plate with an original idea. Hilary hasn't a clue. She has been throwing around the words redeploy, and cap. What the hell does that mean? Redeploy equals retreat and cap equals quit.  Let's not forget  Mr. Webb's soliloquy about his family's military history. God bless those that served. It doesn't justify losing this war. Again, he said he welcomes dialogue with the President. What would they talk about? Once again, another Democrat with a lot of nothing to offer. If Mr. Webb has anything to offer, it should first be an apology for his outright disrespectful interactions with President Bush. He is the Commander-in-Chief,  while, Jim is just a freshman getting his foot in the door. Doesn't say very much for him.

President Bush couldn't have stated the urgency of America winning this war in  Iraq better. There will be consequences. It is incredulous that  the entire Democratic Party fails to foresee what the stakes are in Iraq. We must win against the insurgency. We are fighting a war unlike any wars past. Here lies the issue. I don't think that liberals got 9/11.  The fact that it has been nearly six years since the attack adds to this.  It is too bad that the fire in the belly that Americans had on that day has fizzled out. Unfortunately, these terrorists have the same burning desire to kill all of us.

Iran is watching what the U.S. does closely in Iraq. They are watching the Democrats and their lack of will to fight. They have already predicted that the U.S. will bail likened to the Vietnam War. The terrorists are hoping for a Democrat to win the presidency in 2008. They are laughing at the division in this country. Imagine what message would be sent to the radical fanatics if both parties decided to put their heads together to win against them.

Many have said it. We are way past the issue of agreeing or disagreeing whether or not we should be involved in Iraq. I have come to realize that liberals do things with emotion. Conservatives tend to use fact and tangibles when approaching a situation. In dealing with the War on Terror, I feel more comfortable with someone who will see things as they are like President Bush does. He sees an entirely different world than the Democrats see. It isn't through rose colored glasses. The President sees a group of fanatics that are hell bent on killing as many Americans as they can. They want to do it here if possible, in our cities.  They want to see the absolute destruction of America.

Maybe I have it all wrong. Perhaps we should try it Hilary's or Nancy Pelosi's way. Let's bake up a few batches of homemade cookies and some fresh lemonade. Get out  the best China and the welcome banners. Nancy can bring out the grandchildren. Don't forget that big white flag. Sad, that they will be met by people with black masks, a few assault weapons, perhaps a suitcase nuke. They will greet them with a how do you do "suckers?" Then actually die with astonished looks on their faces. Even more ironic, it could be members of the insurgency from Iraq the Dems thought they were redeploying from.

Celebrate Life

Many churches and organizations will be celebrating life and denouncing abortion in all of its form in today's USA Today. President Bush hailed a group of pro-life demonstrators and told them that there has to be more than legislative victories established in the fight for life. There has to be changes in the hearts of people.

I think that Mr. Bush was dead on with that statement. So many people are hardhearted in regard to the abortion issues. So many can't see beyond the argument of when life begins. Then there is a woman's right to control her own body.  It is the same old arguments and in most cases you are either on one side of the issue or the other and I have never been ever to change a pro-choice supporters stance on the issue until a few days ago.

I was listening to Christian radio in my area and the issue about abortion came up. The topic of discussion was a group of priests that have taken on the cause for changing peoples minds about abortion and I was completely fascinated by this. These priests developed a web site on which featured photographs of aborted fetuses at various stages of development, including the abominable partial birth abortion. It is a horrific site to behold. I could not get these pictures out of my mind for most  of the day.

The priests invite everyone who believes that he/she is a supporter of abortion, to take a visit to the web site and view each and everyone of the pictures that are on the site. If a person has a pulse and any feeling at all, he would have to take pause and be sobered by what he sees. The web site is http://www.priestsforlife.org  Whether you think you are certain in your convictions about being pro-choice or not, I invite you to take a look at this web page.

Regarding the lady I met recently, we had a lively debate about abortion at an Arabica Coffee House. The discussion had all of the same elements they always contain. She threw the scientific determinations about when life actually begins at me and I rebutted. Fortunately, I had my laptop on hand. I thought of the Priests for Life site. I asked the woman if she would be willing to look at the page. I informed her of the contents and she agreed to look. I took her to the page. I have to admit that I was astonished at the reaction that she had. Her face became flush and she couldn't speak. She told me she had to go and that she didn't have to time to debate the issue any further. To my chagrin, thirty minutes later, she returned to the coffee house and came to my table and just sat down.

I could never had prepared for what was going to happen at that moment. The lady told me that she had left and spent the last half hour sick in the bathroom.  She confided to me that she had had an abortion six months prior. I was feeling so many emotions at that moment. I was flabbergasted. I felt empathy. I also felt alarm because I didn't know anything about this woman and she didn't know anything about me. We were just two people that ended up talking in a coffee shop. Yet, there I was, listening to her confess a personal choice she had made to me.

The lady and I spent a couple of hours talking at that Arabica and it was a time I won't soon forget. She assured me that she was going to promote the Priest for Life internet page to others. I am not deluded into believing that the page will touch everyone in such a dramatic sense. My hope is that it would dispel the widespread indifference that exists regarding abortion. If more people would stop viewing abortion as a method of contraception. The priests would have accomplished something wonderful for life.

U.S. Credibility On The Line

Well, looks like President Bush has spoken tonight. I don't think that he could have been clearer in sending messages to Americans and the world, that we are a long way from an end to war. According to the contents of the president's speech, we should all be bracing for a wider war. Perhaps a regional conflict in the Middle East.

All along, the Iranians and Syrians have been waging a proxy war with the United States in Iraq. They are sending terrorists into Iraq to confront our soldiers and we are left to play the defensive. No one wants to admit that to be successful in Iraq, we will have to confront Iran. We have to get at the source of these insurgencies. We could be in Iraq forever waiting at the border for these jihad extremist to come and shoot at the soldiers.

Then there is Iran's defiance to cease and desist with its nuclear program. Israel has already stated that they will not tolerate a nuclear Iran. President Bush has said as much before. So where does this leave us? I smell escalation in the air beyond what most Americans dare to phantom. Believe that Iran heard the messages in President Bush's speech. Then, there is the naval build up in the region that has been going on for months with little to no press coverage. The USS Enterprise is in the Mediterranean or nearby region. This may be a prediction, but from what I know of recent history and the Navy's Flagship, it is usually kept secret as to where it is deployed other than  being a part of the Pacific Fleet. The Enterprise shows up when the U.S. wants to send a clear message to an adversary. For example, when tensions rose between China and Taiwan during the Clinton Administration, what war ship was sent to the region? Yes, the USS Enterprise.

I support our troops in Iraq but really feel that Iran should have been our next target after Afghanistan. It will be a more dangerous and deadly confrontation and it is inevitable. I just wish that we were not closer to confronting Iran with our troops bogged down in Iraq and stretched thin all over the world.

Syria is of no real consequence in a confrontation. I can't help but recall a passage in the Bible's Book of Ezekiel where he predicts the burning and destruction of of Damascus, Syria. Who can deny that this wouldn't be an outcome in a conflagration with Iran? The question is how it would burn? Would it be conventional weapons or nuclear weapons? I will concede that the prospect of nuclear weapons being used in  a limited exchange is most frightening. Also chilling, in a war with Iran, the U.S. may be forced to use tactical nuclear weapons. Meanwhile, the homeland will undoubtedly be facing terror attacks on several fronts from Iranian Sleeper Cells already believed in place within the U.S.

Seems as if the antiwar sentiment is growing as demonstrated by the horrifying Congressional and Senate races. I don't understand why so many people would like to see us walk away from Iraq and be jeered by the terrorists as weak without the stomach to fight. Looks like a repeat of the Vietnam War. It seems that so many are forgetting that our soldiers believe in their mission in Iraq and want to win.

The Democrats and their supporters obviously don't care. They want to return to isolationism. Guess what? The terrorists aren't going to leave us alone because they hate everything this country stands for, They want us wiped from the face of the earth with Israel.

Another factor to consider. Do we want the terrorists to set Iraq up as a haven with control to a substantial part of the world's oil? Now I am sure that Nancy Pelosi and her comrades love driving their cars. Imagine the scenario for a moment. Looking at the world through rose colored glasses can get you killed in today's world. It can get thousands killed as we have already witnessed on 9/11.

America needs to wake up and see the world for what it is. President Bush made many mistakes with this war in Iraq, but I defy anyone to say that his view of this post 9/11 world isn't dead on.  I think that very few people realize that it is a matter of when the U.S. is attacked again and not if?  President Bush sees that what could befall our nation in the future will make September 11, 2001, look absolutely delightful in comparison. This time we may lose a city.

I will agree with Nancy Pelosi, when she stated that she won't give the president a blank check. He has made some serious mistakes. I have stated previously that he made it hard to get behind his global policy when our borders are less than secure, but that is for another time. We need checks and balances as the Constitution provided for. With that, I am sure there is not much more I will concur on with the best representative of liberalism this country has seen in a long time, Ms. Pelosi.

Is The GOP Ready For The Black Republican?

It is quite disturbing that eight black Republicans ran for office duringt he mid-term elections, yet, every one of them lost their races. On the other side, thirty-eight black Democrats won seats out of the forty-one up for grabs. What does this say to the black Republicans, like myself?

Could it be that these black Republican candidates were running for office in states that have strong democratic backing? It is pretty hard to tell with this election, consdiering the fact so many conservatives decided to vote democratic, to send a message to President Bush. The Republicans lost races in traditional conservative strongholds.

It is clear to me that it is very hard for the black Republican to make inroads with the majority of the black electorate because of traditional voting patterns and mistrust of the GOP that has festered for decades. Why is this the case? Is it that the old relic of racial intolerance in the GOP or is it the throughout the electorate? It has pleased me how the leading Republicans and President Bush, himself, has reached out to blacks to consider joining the GOP. They acknowledged the racial divide. I have to give them credit in stating that they would like to earn the black vote, juxtapose, the democratic party which takes the back vote for granted. The truth of the matter is that the Democrats get caught up in their complacency because time and time again, blacks send them a message that their isn't any gravitation toward another choice.

Evidence concludes that the largest barrier to black Republicans being elected to office, is their own party, the GOP. The endless racially insulting gaffes and racially loaded campaign ads by Republican politicians. The powers that be in the GOP fail miserably to condemn these practices. This gets nothing but rage from within the black community. President Bush snubbed the Congressional Black Caucus and the NAACP for five years. Then there is the fight amongst Republicans over the renewal of the Voting Rights Act. These actions don't ease the suspicions that many blacks have about the party.

Let's face it, racism is alive and well in America. Their have been studies done at both Harvard and Yale by political analysts. They found that many white Republicans would rather vote for a white Democrat than a black Republican. On the flip side, whites are almost as less likely to vote for a black Democrat.
Blacks tend to vote for Democrats because they blieve that the party is more likely to take on fights on civil rights and such. Historically this has been the case.

These findings are not comforting to someone like me. I will say that I learned a lot about racist issues as I matured. I don't run down the street scraming racism because someone refused to speak to me. I have encounterd blacks whom have mentioned someone disliked them becuase they were black. My response was to ask them if it ever occurred to them that, if it were true and they were disliked, could it be their personality, or the way they related to the person? There are bad apples in every group including within the black community. I have witnessed several incidences of reversed racism. Unfortunately, I get flack from blacks for being a Republican. I am referred to as a trader and an "uncle tom." I educate those who will allow it and the rest I chalk up to sheer ignorance and inflexibility.

For me, it has come down to my own personal beliefs steming from my Chritian faith. A belief that blacks have been served to their detriment by larger government that promotes the culture of victimization with little empowerment. So the truth of this, is that choosing to be a black Republican, puts me between a "rock and a hard place."  Blacks are not welcomed with open arms in the GOP and they have no support withing the black community.

Everyone wants to belong. I have to say, that I have been pleased with the responses I have received from local Republicans in Ohio. I worked on the campaign of Ken Blackwell and Mike Dewine. The people treated me like a guest of honor. So there is hope that the GOP will get the message down the line. The black vote can be a treasure trove for the Republicans, if they continue to reach out and put the focus on the damage Democrats have caused to the commmunity. Of note here are, the public school systems, of which they have had a strangle hold on for a very long time.

An Angry Black Republican

The conservative talk show hosts can put on all the brave fronts they want to.You can't convince me that true republicans aren't disgusted with the results of this mid-term election. I don't know if I can stand listening to Nancy Pelosi's voice for the next six years. How in the world did all of this happen? What on earth is the Bush Administration doing with Secretary Rumsfield?

Nancy Pelosi had some nasty things to say about President Bush during the election campaign an she should be ashamed of herself for not showing more restraint. President Bush was much more restrained when asked questions about democrats. Pelosi behaved like a kindergartener and I pray that she acts like an adult for the next six years.

The Bush administration seems to have made a miscalculation by not letting Secretary Rumsfield go before the election. I am almost certain this would have changed many of the outcomes of close races. President Bush didn't see this landslide coming. I'll gamble that he may have prepared for losing the House of Representatives but not the Senate.

The most infuriating thing is that the democrats didn't even have a platform to run on. They kept yelling change but no idea what that change is going to be, other than most likely trying to block everything President Bush proposes or perhaps undue some good things he has done with tax cuts and such. The only thing conservatives have to be grateful for, is that the majority is so thin in Congress that in the worst case scenario, we all get stuck in gridlock and nothing gets done. This will backfire on the democrats because I believe that they haven't thought much about keeping power after getting there. They had no original ideas coming in so what will change? Another positive fact is that several of the democrats elected lean closer to the right than to the left.

The American electorate is baffling, though, it is a historical cycle in a president's second term for shift in power within Congress. This time is unique because we have a good economy, the gas prices have come down, and there was some movement on immigration. But then there is the war in Iraq. Was this the single reason for the democratic victory? Was it in the minds of Americans to achieve a "check and balance" on presedential power? It is an odd situation because so many other issues were voted on such as on gay marriage bans. These passed all over the country  with the exception of Arizona. There was a social conservative movement across the country.

The thing I suspect about this election is that so many people went out and voted out of emotion instead of taking the time to think first about long term consequences. I am almost certain that there weren't many people who considered the fact that President Bush may have at least one more Supreme Court appointment to make. It wasn't an issue that was promoted during the campaign, to the conservatives detriment.

With anger and disppointment aside, I guess it is time to take it like a man. I have to say that this election really hurt for me, especially since it was the first election being a black republican and getting solidly behind the GOP. I hadn't felt so excited or alive about an election in all my life. Early on the evening of Election Day, I got a sinking feeling in my stomach that things were not going to go well. Two things entered my mind by the midnight hour. First, "Should I go to Walgreens to get some medicine for an upset stomach?" and " How do I get hold of some prozac?"

Tribute To Our Soldiers

Every American should read the recent article in the New York Times depicted with a photograph of a hand covered in blood holding a bullet. This story should make many Americans feel ashamed for creating such divisiveness in the nation.

Whether it is John Kerry spewing his words from his mouth that takes the veil off of his true nature and that of many leftist liberals, or the average "Joe", speaking against the Iraq War and President Bush, should be absolutely shut up or leave the country.

It rings true that "the emptiest barrels make the most noise." When one reads about what our men and women are enduring in Iraq and Afghanistan, unless he is a complete moron with heart of stone, he would have to be overcome with emotion. Personally, it gravitates me to my kness to pray for these soldiers and their families.

Imagine a soldier living his daily life at war. He goes through his day hoping and praying that it won't be his last day of life on this earth. He hopes that he won't feel a sniper's bullet, the size of a human finger, slice through a part of his body. What does he feel when he hears or reads news from back home in the States? He hears all of the bickering and the snide comments coming out of the Democratic Party. He hears that it is a waste of time and effort doing what it is he does in the war. So many want him and his fellow soldiers to abruptly leave the battlefront and not complete the mission he believes in. He sees all the death of his fellow comrades-in-arms as dying for nothing. This soldier hear about how his entire military organization is being pegged as rotten because of a few bad apples in the bunch. The soldier thinks that it is all so ironic because he is not fighting for the Republican or Democratic Parties. He is fighting for the American citizens and the American way of life. The blood being spilled in the ultimate sacrifice is red. It is red whether Democrat or Republican.

The bravery and courage of these brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, husbands, wives, uncles, aunts, and in-laws, surpasses anything that anyone person can phanthom. How does one dare speak ill of these soldiers? "I support the troops but not the war," is the most used statement today by so many. This is the most asinine statement being made out here. Those that use it should know that it doesn't wash. You either support the troops or you don't, it is that simple. To say otherwise is absolute garbage!

What these divisionists fail to see is that when he speakes against the war and the soldiers, the terrorists hear this. They read the papers and they hear the news from CNN International and Al Jazeera. They exploit this and do everything to influence America's electionsand her resolve. They know who the retreatists are. They know that if they step up the violence, it will send the Democrats into a frenzy with wanting to run away from the fight. It is our soldiers that suffer because of this in the fall out.

As Americans, we have it too good in this country. We are self-centered people that want to live out lives with ease and in comfort. We want to sleep in security. We want to be entertained in our stadiums, movie houses, and eat in restaurants in safety and security. We want to swipe our credit and debit cards at the shopping malls in security. We want to shop at the supermarkets for food, of which we are blessed with in abundance and throw away tons of it per year. We want to do this in security. Do we want to worry about being blown up or shot up while we carry on every day? What group of people can we suppose allows for this safety and security?

Folks, let us get off our cell phones, pull away from our blackberries. Let's take pause from the television, the video games. Let's take our eyes off of our bank statements, annual reports, dividend reports, and the bottom lines. Open a history book and recall or learn what is has cost so many for us to do whatever it is we do every day.

The U.S. faces an evil force that is bent on destroying all we take for granted. If we could only get the atmosphere of cooperation and support back that was present in the country after 9/11. It is ironic that so many don't realize or acknowledge that we haven't had another 9/11 or something worse. This is due to President Bush and the troops relentlessness to take the fight to the terrorists and keep them at bay away from the Homeland. The biggest tragedy is the loss of the "united" in United States.

Whatever the viewpoint, we as a people, could never repay the men and women in the Armed Forces for what they have done today and all off the yesterdays past. These efforts have prevented the U.S. Homeland from becoming an Iraq or an Afghanistan. A frightful scenario during which ordinary citizens would have to take up arms to defend everything they hold dear. How sad that it may take something devastating like this for unity to return among us.

We are a nation of citizens producing extraordinary men and women that are selfless and giving individuals. During a time which The United States faces the most perilous time of its existence, these people leave family, friends, children, and jobs to keep "Ole Glory" flying, representing ideals that are envied all over the world. In the face of this, our opinions are negligible. Can we love and honor the soldiers? All these men and women ask of us, is for our unconditional support and for our patience to let them accomplish the goals for which they believe in.

God bless every man and woman in the United States Armed Forces. Bless those families with loved ones lost and those awaiting a loved ones safe return. Bless President W. Bush and his Cabinet. May God continue to bless the U.S.A.
